The property was clean and tidy. We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The bedroom and living area were perfect for our overnight stay before travelling on to Gatwick (40 mins away) the following morning.

I read other reviews and can only think they are outdated ! I had a lovely room - admittedly at the back of the property so very quiet ! I was shown around the room by Tash who was super friendly and helpful - the staff were all lovely - I had a superb Sunday roast before booking in and the breakfast the next morning was great ! thank you The Goudhurst Inn - I will be back ❤️xx

The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and they went beyond to help me with some requests which I appreciated. Room was beautiful and very spacious. The one thing I did not like was that I could not turn the towel rail off and I have a problem with heat but at least I could open the window fully which helped. The breakfast was really good.
