Great place to stay, easy for Chichester and Arundel.
Great place to stay, easy for Chichester and Arundel. Weald and Downlands museum definitely worth a visit - take walking shoes. The White Horse is great for gastropub food; The Forresters Arms does good pub food if you want soemething a bit simpler.

Just be aware that all the local pubs are closed on Mondays...
Just be aware that all the local pubs are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays making eating out very difficult. Had to travel into Midhurst on the Tuesday evening for a meal and that proved extremely disappointing.

The photos really don't do the Hideaway justice. The place was lovely and clean, had good facilities and the setting in the South Downs is simply stunning. In one night we saw deer, badgers, rabbits and a fox! Also I managed to lose my wallet and Oliver the owner searched the place more than once after we left and posted it back to us, for which I was incredibly grateful.. Would highly recommend the Hideaway.PhilUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Pubs that sell great food and give a warm welcome are a mile away from the property which can be walked down a path away from roads - very relaxing. The only noise at the property was birdsong - fantastic!SarahUnited Kingdom
