Our stay at the cottage in the wood was just for one night,
but we are pleased we found it and will be visiting again. The location is great. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The chairs in our room were perfectly positioned to sit in and take in the gorgeous view, as were the seats on the terrace and in the restaurant. The food was amazing with just the right amount of choice on the menu. The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable and the birthday card was a very nice touch.

If you like walking and history then this is the place to come. Amazing walks and stunning views. The view from British Hill Camp is quite something. There are a number of beautiful little towns, like Ledbury, Great Malvern etc that are steeped in history as well as great for eating out. The Eastnor castle and grounds are another place to visit and a walk uptown the obelisk is well worth the walk up to it.

We liked the hills and views the younger members of our party climbed the British camp to take photos and we all enjoyed the gas lights in West malvern. We took empty bottles and filled them.up with water out of one of the many wells in the area.

Lovely little town with independent shops great for browsing. Great choice of restaurants and bars. There is a great bar in the high street that brews beer called Weavers. At the top of the town we went to Alturo Lounge that has a fantastic choice of food and drink in a highly decorative atmosphere. We also went to Gurka Chef and sa.pled Nepalese food. It was very nice and a change from indian food. The theatre is lovely and very accessible. Friendly people. If you like walking there are great walks and history walks too!

The area looked beautiful but unfortunately we were only able to stay overnight for a friends funeral. We had to be back in London that evening for a prebooked event. Will definately go back again to explore the area.

The area of Malvern is beautiful as always but we did not actually visit the town of Malvern this time. When we have previously visited the town we found it had character but a bit of a challenge for older folks due to it being hilly. It is still worth a visit though.
The location is perfect for exploring Great Malvern and the surrounding area. Reception staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great en suite shower room. We were on the sunny side of the hotel, which was quite warm but there was a very efficient and quiet fan provided, for which we were grateful. There was free parking. We ate in the Mulberry Tree restaurant in the evening where the service was also very good and the food great.
we came for a one night stay as we were going to a dog show in the area. stayed with 3 border collies. the service was excellent and so was the room we stayed in - very comfortable and spacious for us and the dogs. the hotel even went out of their way to give us some breakfast for the next day as we couldn’t make to it in the morning so that was very considerate and appreciated. would highly recommend this hotel. the area it’s based in is beautiful also.
We augmented our stay for a little longer than had initially been planned. Stylish, spotlessly clean and lovely. Centrally placed to everything in Malvern. Easy to park and yet just a few moments walk from the lovely independent shops in Great Malvern. Everything is here in the apartment that one could need. On two floors it feels more like a house and feels very private.
The hosts were very friendly and eager to ensure every guest’s stay was enjoyable. The room was very comfortable with all expected facilities and there was a good choice of excellent breakfasts. A small family run hotel which couldn’t be bettered. A good parking area was available, a delightful garden, a lounge and honesty bar. We couldn’t have been more at home.
Lovely home-from-home hotel. My adult daughter and I stayed in room 16, a large twin room with a little lounge area. It suited our needs perfectly. All of the staff were so very friendly. A credit to the hotel. It was a short drive to the car parks for the Malvern Hills and close to towns too. We had a really enjoyable stay. Thank you Colwall Park Hotel.
Warm welcome. Spacious clean well appointed bedroom and bathroom. Walk in wardrobe and plenty of additional storage. Lovely continental breakfast eaten in the conservatory with stunning views of the Malvern hills.
Ample parking on the properties own drive.
View was brilliant looking over Malvern. Food was good as usual for Wetherspoons. Parking was very nearby in fact for £1.50 you can park overnight between 16.00 hours and 8.30am next morning on a council car park behind the Unicorn Hotel just over the road.
The room was in the old part of the hotel as requested, and the hotel location within Great Malvern was superb which was one of the reasons for booking along with plenty of parking on site.
Breakfast was good , with plenty of choice, plenty of seating.
What's not to like, it is a lovely hotel situated in a great location. Comfortable clean room with a mini fridge. Breakfast was top class. The hotel bar even has my all time favourite cider on tap. I feel blessed !
Lovely little hotel, beautifully decorated with lovely polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and the setting was perfect for walking into the centre of Great Malvern or travelling out sightseeing.
Charming hotel with great views and a splendid location.
Lovely spacious room with excellent facilities.
Very helpful and friendly staff throughout.
Excellent food at a reasonable price.
The breakfast was superb with a great choice on offer.
The owners and their staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
