I could definitely recommend both The Gables Hotel & The Gretna Hall Hotel, although I only actually stayed in The Gables Hotel, but had food in both. The wedding reception was held in the Gretna Hall Hotel & the main meal was amazing. Some wedding guests stayed further afield and didn’t sleep properly being near a noisy motorway. The Blacksmiths was well worth seeing & it has an interesting history. Plenty of parking at the rear of the buildings.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Rooms clean , a little small . Windows don’t keep motorway noise out .Complained about noise in room at check out , they seemed not too care . Work being carried out on floor above early in the morning , drilling and banging . These rooms should not be used , wasnt warned about this . Very poor , Didn’t sleep at all well . The room was perfect for what we needed and breakfast in the morning was delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for what we were expecting to just be an easy option!

The beds were comfy and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful, we forgot to bring our iron and they didn't have a problem with borrowing us both the iron and board. They were very helpful when I can to ordering taxis and explained the best way to sort this out. For what we paid and the customer service we got I couldn't fault this hotel.
