Location is perfect for me - close to family and beautiful countryside, not far off m4. The setting is really beautiful including the gardens of the hotel- streams, wildlife- lovely !
Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had great shower. Very peaceful.
Swimming pool is a great bonus - nice and warm!

The Castle Inn went above and beyond in their hospitality. We didn't want for anything, rooms very comfy, and stocked with various breakfast items, biscuits, as well as the usual tea and coffee, The staff were very friendly, and they served the most amazing food.

Highlight of the stay… definitely the breakfast! Huge portions, great quality ingredients served quickly and efficiently so everything was piping hot. I left so full, I didn’t have to eat for the rest of the day!

Breakfast was excellent. The friendly service and hospitality of the staff. We also organised a party in the evening and the service during the setting up of the room and serving the three course meal was excellent. All staff very polite when serving and catered for everyone’s needs.

This is a really special hotel in Caerleon. The lovely old priory has been beautifully restored, the rooms are gorgeous and there is completmentary tea, coffee, herbal teas and both still and sparkling water. The restaurant is outstanding and the staff were professional and friendly. We even had a free glass of Cava on arrival - a welcome treat!

Location was exactly what we wanted, room was very ok, exceptionally clean and beautiful size room, staff in bar were lovely. We were very disappointed that the bar closed at 8pm, the nature of our journey ment we were back at around 8pm and was very much looking forward to having a few drinks. We did manage just to get a couple of drinks that we were Able to have in our room but it wasn’t the same. We would have liked more teabags and coffee and loo rolls put into our room daily but no one appeared to top them up.
