Near to castle, fabulous beach, local supermarket/convenience shop, good bus route options.
Not a wide selection of family restaurants/ options in the village (except for a place called The Ranch which had good range of food options and portions were HUGE).

Grouville has good connections with local attractions via regular buses. Golf course nearby. We liked going to Gorey and St Catherines point.
Used our car some days. Parking at the hotel limited, but there was on street parking nearby.

Quiet and relaxing. No tat shops or arcades.
Quiet and relaxing. No tat shops or arcades. No entertainment but easily within a 25 mn bus ride away from St. Helier the capital.
Just a wide expanse of sand and sea with a castle at the end.
Eateries within walking distance serving all tastes and a Morrisons corner shop in the village.
Everywhere clean and smart looking.

We made a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Harry Vardon and needless to say Grouville gripped us.Unfortunately the Royal Golf Club did not make us welcome but this did not surprise me since most golf clubs with a Royal warrant do not have disabled facilities. If you examine the statue of Harry Vardon at the entrance you will notice that Harry is giving visitors the finger .
Good, quiet, sunny room with large comfortable bed. Everything was extremely clean. Pleasant indoor pool and sauna.
Restaurant staff worked flat out every day to keep guests happy. Location excellent, in the less busy East coast: away from noisy traffic but 2 minutes from a bus stop (local bus service is brilliant).
As with every other Hotel on the Island, there are staff shortages but at no time did this seem to affect the service.
Location is amazing , next to a good golf course , the sea is 2 mins walk from the hotel , good walks along the beach. Buses run between the hotel and Gordy which has a few restaurants and lovely harbour . Ot if you like to walk is only 1 mile along the coast perfect location . This was a business trip but will be coming back for a holiday.
Breakfasts were both continental and English and were fresh and plentiful. The hotel perfectly placed for those evening walks to Gorey Castle. Although only B&B there are lots of choices nearby for casual or a restuarant evening meal to sample all the fresh seafood fare. The room was serviced everyday and the staff were fantastic.
Location, clean bright rooms, updated bathrooms, full breakfasts, and fantastic staff. Not much interaction with the front desk, but the people that take care of the hotel are lovely. The TV lounge and the dining lounge for dining in with take away food are very nice extras.
This hotel is to be highly recommended. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole complex is spotlessly clean, the bedrooms are perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had dinner one night and this was very good too. We will definitely return
The breakfasts were the best I can recall in any hotel anywhere in the world. The Staff were very genuinely friendly and helpful and this is important, never showed any signs of being unhappy.
Well appointed attractive rooms in Gorey village. Close to Grouville beach and M’ont Orgeil. Frequent convenient bus service (about 15 mins journey) into St Helier.Excellent breakfast.
The hotel had recently been refurbished to a good standard. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The English breakfasts were excellent.
Excellent hotel, food nice chefs know what they are doing. Having seen several hotel that we'd previously looked at on line they were nothing like as good as Beausite.
Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was great
Very good garden area to have coffee, a drink, relax
Bus stop outside hotel and very regular buses.
