Lovely big room in a friendly pub hotel. Part of the brewery Fuller chain. So great beers. Lovely friendly efficient service. Very large bedroom en suite. Was my starting night of my hike along the South Downs way.

The location is excellent, the surrounding meadows and woods are very beautiful. The kitchen is also perfectly equipped and allows you to prepare anything, the dining room is also good, as well as the small library area.

Lovely area. Nice bar, reasonable meals., very nice service, friendly staff very good breakfast.
Nice swimming pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, not crowded, but you have to pay £5 a day now ( difficult to find your way into the leisure suite, and on leaving I went by mistake into the men's changing room, very confusing)
