Swallows Retreat is a beautiful property, in a great location and everything about our experience was perfect. Sarah’s communications were timely and useful (eg, last part of the journey directions and locating hints) When we arrived, we found the property spotlessly clean, well equipped, beautifully furnished (comfy sofa and bed!) light and airy. We had everything we needed to cook a light dinner and with the blinds and door curtain shut, the space became cosy for the evening. Also, the shower was roomy, decent power and lovely big towels. There is a nice, sheltered outside seating area too.
In a peaceful corner of rural Cheshire, The Pheasant Inn offers wonderful views, cosy log fires and a pretty courtyard garden. The inn is situated in the scenic Peckforton Hills.

Booked as a break for my parents and they had the most lovely time. Host was friendly and easy to contact, property was beautiful and location was perfect
Double booked so we didn't actually stay there! Not easy to find as there is no name outside the property (next gate after the farm). Although the owners did eventually find us somewhere to stay locally, it wasn't what we booked!
