Location and grounds. Staff absolute fantastic. Couldn’t do enough for us. Review is only this good due to the staff if I am honest.
This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms.

Hotel was amazing itself. Bedrooms spa en suite was awesome. Love the Wildes room yet not realising we got the room for disabled which supposedly be used to disable person. All the beds were soft and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and receptionist Daniel was truly a star for making my daughter’s room extra special for her 27th birthday. We have our dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food were really delicious. We would like to thank Daniel and the rest of the Wildes staff for making our stay a memorable one.
It was on the Southside of the M1....we didn’t know that...
It was on the Southside of the M1....we didn’t know that originally...as we were travelling north we had to go up to junction 31 and back down the other side! We were in room 009 executive double..we were at the back on the ground floor....with the widows open it was super noisy as it backs onto the onslip of the motorway. The room was big, clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and the teabags were plentiful.

Fantastic value for money.
Fantastic value for money. The hotel is next to motorway services so there are lots of options for food/meals. The staff were amazing. Soo friendly and welcoming. My room was very warm. I went to reception and requested a fan. They got me one straight away. I took my dog with me. I am always wary of pet friendly hotels, due to dogs shedding hairs and the smell etc. (I am allergic to any dogs that shed hairs). I needn't have worried. My room was spotlessly clean and no smell of pooches. I had the best nights sleep ever. The bed was soo comfy. I will definately be returning again. A huge well done to all the staff for making mine and my pooch, Alfie's stay brilliant.
The room itself was spacious however there was dust everywhere the ‘sofa bed’ was a really thin (I wouldn’t even say mattress) more like a cos bed base, there was limescale all around the shower, the TV wouldn’t stick on one channel, it kept loosing service. The lady on reception was lovely but the hotel as a whole was shocking. I wouldn’t even recommend that place for a pr*stitute
The receptionist was professional and made us feel welcome. The hotel is clean. The room was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised about the significantly reduced traffic noise being as we were by the motorway. Slept very well.
Clean comfortable bed. Liked the provision of bath mat and tissues in bathroom, unexpected at this price point. Reasonable choice of takeaway food available close to hotel. Not a destination hotel but very satisfactory stay en route.
Staff were brilliant. The room was good and clean. Considering it was a motorway service hotel, I dindt hear much noise through the night at all. Shower pressure was great and the wifi was really good as well.
Rooms are very comfortable, the whole place is quiet and clean.
Staff members are absolutely welcoming and professional.
I travel with my pet, so I'm glad this hotel is a pet friendly place.
All of it. The staff are all so friendly whatever the time of day or night. As a budget hotel Days Inn is right at the top of our choice when travelling.
