Extremely clean room with a great view of the beach. Landlords were very nice and accommodating. The double bed was very spacious and we slept very well. Breakfast with cereals and fruit juice/yoghurt was enough to start the day. We enjoyed our stay very much even if the weather was not so good.

Agapanthus Bed & Breakfast - Fraddam, hotel in Hayle

Situated in Hayle and only 12 km from St Michael's Mount, Agapanthus Bed & Breakfast - Fraddam features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Jill was very friendly and immediately made us feel like home. We came for a family wedding in St Ives which was about a 10-15 min drive away. The bed was comfortable and the rooms had ample storage for an overnight stay. The dining area had a good selection of breakfast items and looked out onto an attractive garden. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Agapanthus B&B.

One of my favourite places to visit I’ve been before and already want to go back. Lots of places to explore walking around the harbour is interesting but you have to slow down and take it in to fully appreciate everything.

We have holidayed in Hayle several times and we like the area very much. Like all holiday areas there is some good parts and some not so good, so you need to do your homework. There is plenty of supermarkets in Hayle as well as eateries, in the summer months it is probably best to book ahead especially if you wanted to dine at one of the local restaurants. Although not beach people, we found the beach to be clean and well looked after.

A good sized town with everything you’re likely to need for day to day shopping. There are pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and fish & chip shops too. If you like Cornish pasties, there’s more than one award winning shop, we got ours from Philps and they were delicious!

Hayle itself is a beautiful little place and has everything you need from a local beach, to a supermarket and to a chip shop and a couple pubs. But most of all, it’s so quiet and where we stayed in the Primero Apartments, it was so peaceful throughout day and night and barely any traffic would pass us as we were just of the main road of the village!

The views from the apartment were lovely and you could walk along the front to the beach. there is building work going on but once inside the apartment it was not a problem. There were lots of quality places to eat Lou’s fish and chip shop for take away and bucket of blood pub to eat in to name just two.

Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site...

Notify guests that there is an adjacent chalet site convenience store further up the road towards the nearest public house, ‘The Bluff Inn’ which is OK for enjoying a drink in the beer garden. ‘The Cove Cafe’ further along the beach is great for lunch - try the Fish Soup!… Talking of ‘The Bluff Inn’ pub, upon reading its many mixed Trip Advisor reviews and their telephone line not working when attempting to make a dinner reservation, we then enjoyed an excellent visit to ‘The Terrace’ Italian Restaurant on Commercial Road in Hayle. We also enjoyed dinner at ‘The Bucket of Blood’ public house (read about its history) just a good walk along the road in the Phillack village. Excellent hosts, food, drink and friendly locals and their dogs. A full food shop can be made at the local large Asda and Lidl supermarkets.

The Penellen is in a great location and is exactly as described. I had a superb room, very comfy, very clean and with a great view. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices to suit all tastes. Barbara was very welcoming and the check-in and out very easy. This is a lovely B&B in the most wonderful spot, with direct access to Hayle beach with parking onsite. I would say it is more a boutique hotel than a B&B. You can also purchase an array of drinks and snacks via an honesty bar in the reception area which is a handy extra.

Great location for getting around various places in Cornwall. Fantastic and unique little gem that has clearly been well designed with plenty of love and attention. Great host, really friendly and full of information if the local area. Includes a couple of lovely friendly dogs and a sleep cat to greet you in and out every day! We went for a mini moon and Lee and Sharon were wonderful and set the place up romantically for our arrival. Just wish we had the place for longer!

It was easy to find, instructions for accessing the property were clear and simple. Free parking on property, lovely terrace sit out on, fully equipped kitchen so we could cook our own stuff if need be. host left tea/coffee/milk and clean towels and it was spotlessly clean. the location is a 5 min walk from trains/buses to different regions of Cornwall and also 5 min walk from Asda/10 min walk to the local Hayle beach - absolutely perfect!

Outstanding host and very clean house. Rooms were immaculate. Location is perfect as well. Ann kept us well informed about the local area and told us where to visit during our stay. Fridge was filled with water, soft drinks tea and coffee and snacks throughout our stay which was 4 nights. Couldn't ask for anymore, next time we visit Cornwall Loggans Lodge will be the place for us to stay.

Beautiful views. Binoculars and bird identifying book. Loved seeing the birds, some I had never seen before. Nice room, quite small but well stocked. Look in drawers and cupboards as lots of things tucked out of sight, i.e., the binoculars and bird book, hairdryer, coffee machine, ironing board and iron and fan. Nice restaurant. Good location to explore Cornwall from. Very relaxing.

Stargazy garden is a truly incredible place to stay. Clean, comfortable, done to an extremely high standard and with amazing hosts who go above and beyond and can’t do more for you during your stay. The Irish Pub is a super added benefit and we loved it! Great location for exploring lots of Cornwall as well. Thanks Lee and Sharon for our amazing week away.

We had a wonderful couple of days. The Cottage is beautifully well kept and overlooking a stunning rural view of Cornwall. There is bus stop right outside the door and it's a short 10 minute drive to Hayle, Penzance and St.Ives. Property has everything we needed and hosts were always available to ask questions of and very happy to do so! Highly recommended!
