The property has a lot of character and it's in a great location. We managed to get a room that had a spare single bed for our daughter. She was over the moon to have her very own big girl bed.
Breakfast was also very good, cooked fresh on-site, and plenty of it. You won't go hungry.

Having evening meal and breakfast in the same building to where I was sleeping was handy. The location to Bewdley Severn Valley Railway Station was handy as not having to get buses/taxes etc could easily walk it.

Very good welcome, we were shown to our room and everything we needed to know was explained. Car parking very close by, but no longer free! The Mug House stopped giving out car park passes a couple of years ago. Wasn’t expensive and not a problem. Breakfast is an extra £10 per person. The building is 16th century, updated in Georgian times, and it’s also Listed so it’s full of wonderful character features!
The Village has everything you need. A Co-Op Supermarket, An excellent Village Butchers shop. A few takeaways including Fish & Chip Shop, (although we didn't sample any of them)
We ate in The Ship Inn down by the river. The pub menu was a little basic but portions were generous and good value for money.
There's also a local rail station and vintage steam railway.
