We were greeted by a warm fire in preparation as the host had asked our arrival time. It was an oasis and just the ticket after a long stressful day and a long drive. Messages were answered very quickly and I would love to go back, in fact we did not want to leave

Spacious room with nice skylights letting in extra light. Great location for access to walks around the Peak District especially if you are relying on the train as it is only a 5 minute walk from the station. Staff were flexible when I arrived a bit early. Good wifi (but had to ask for the password). Main street with restaurants, cafes and other shops just at the end of the street.

Standard room was small but nice. Sadly we're woken by banging above us around 3am. We later found out it was from the staff bedroom. We ate in the restaurant and the food was worth the visit alone
