Beautiful house set in amazing gardens. Lovely room, nicely furnished with tea and coffee facilities and fresh milk! Nice bathroom. Continental breakfast and fresh fruit, cereal etc. Emma the host was friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless. Lots of parking and set in the most gorgeous countryside. Would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous dog-friendly pub in a quiet location with friendly staff and great food. They were happy for me to place an order for a meal in the evening, even though the kitchen had technically closed an hour before. My room was fantastic - overlooking the neighbouring cricket field. The pub has a lot of history. Loved all the arty celebrity portraits dotted around too

Breakfast - disappointing to have a 'canteen' stile breakfast service rather than table service with freshly cooked eggs to order, however, other than the eggs, the remainder of the breakfast items were good
