The property was quietly located on edge of Holne with views...
The property was quietly located on edge of Holne with views across the valley. The host greeted us on arrival and was most helpful. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and in good order. Would certainly recommend Walkers Retreat which is conveniently located for exploring Devon and Dartmoor in particular. Many walks could be started from the property.

The village shop and pub very good, food excellent, plenty to go and see around the village, moors were good ponies and fouls, sheep and cattle. We are in the national trust and a few places around to go to .jillUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We liked the building.... those ancient places!! The personnel was very kind and accomodating especially with the food for our child. They gave us advices on places to go too and made us feel very looked after. The food was good and the Sunday Roast absolutely special!!! Would definitely recommend.SilviaItaly - 6.0Scored 6.0
