The room was cosy, the bed was comfortable and there is a kettle with coffee, tea, sugar etc where I could make myself a drink. The bathroom is well-equipped, there is a shower (with multiple functions) and a bath tub as well.

The bed was super comfy, although once we lifted the bottom sheet, we discovered it wasn't actually a mattress, just a large piece of foam.

Excellent service and pleasantly surprised we got an upgraded room on arrival as it was our wedding anniversary. Excellent choice of breakfast which was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Very good value for money. Lovely quiet setting within easy reach of Nottinghams attractions. Declan in particular was very friendly and took pride in his role at the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with good facilities. Lovely building.

The efforts made by owners to to make the the public rooms and bedrooms comfortable throughout the ground floor, The rooms had large leather chesterfield sofas, and armchairs upholtered in a patchwork of bright coloured fabrics.
The restaurant was very well laid out and the food (cooked to order) was excellent.we had the Ragu which the chef told me was cookiing for 9 hours just as a ragu sauce should be, and you didn't need deep pockets. The ragu £13:95. Also Sensible portions. Breakfast for me (Which is not included) was two poaced eggs with home made hollandaise sauce on a toasted muffin.(38;35) a full English £13;50, ish.

I stayed for a business trip, the two hour a day free parking around the corner is convenient. The property is very well decorated and a lovely homely feel. Bathroom was very large, easy to use shower. Tuck shop was greatly appreciated! Claire and her partner were very accommodating and approachable if I needed anything. Bed was large and comfortable. I loved the extra cushions for that comfy feel. I would happily stay here again. I loved the homely feel compared to staying in a hotel.
this was the worst hotel i have ever had the misfortune to stay in..1..window full of dead flies//2..no mirror above sink to shave...you can see where the mirror was as there is a filthy but of wallpaper were it used to be..told cleaner...she said yes i know..3..all rooms are on the 3rd floor so hopeless if you are infirm...4..only 1 window would open..[other 1 stuck shut]...5..carpets filthy..6..not ensuite..new showers fitted but floor not fitted properly...
The hotel was good staff where friendly and the room was lovely but we where supposed to change rooms and didn’t end up the staff didn’t relay this back to each other and ended up just walking into the room we where staying in I wasn’t happy with this there’s a lot of stuff surrounding this hotel McDonalds across the road and Tesco tram and train stops are across the road too buses close by and hucknall town centre too.
I went to Hucknall to attend the funeral of a very dear friend. The hotel was at the end of the street where my friend lived and was also the venue for her wake so it was very convenient. The staff were very accommodating and let me leave my suitcase in the secure office while I went to the funeral, and to collect it after the wake. The room was quite basic but it was clean and comfortable.
Location was right across the street from the church I came to Hucknall to see--couldn't have been better.
Staff was lovely and very kind and friendly. I enjoyed meeting everyone. Room was incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast wasn't an option, but plenty of cafes nearby.
The bedroom was sizeable. The hotel is right next to Tram Stop. Hot water was very hot. Room was right temperature, not cold not too warm. Clean despite the aged dowdy appearance.
Ihave stayed here before so knew what hotel/room was like and also knew hotel staff so just asked for anything i wanted. They were all very helpfull and very pleasant.
