Friendly staff, good service, noting was too much trouble. Free overnight electric car charging (two spaces) was an unexpected bonus and most welcome, taking the stress out of recharging on the go. The shower was exceptional - easy to use and operate either the rain-shower head or the hand held one. Fantastic grounds of Buckfast Abbey.

Gorgeous room with a four poster bed and bath on feet! A very friendly welcome and staff went out of their way to accomodate us and make sure that we were happy. Lovely clean room & plenty of nice breakfast! I was recommended the hotel by friends who stay here regularly and very much appreciate it too!

We loved our stay. We had a very warm welcome from Victoria complete with a glass of prosecco and chatting by a cosy fire. The house is amazing, it's much more like staying with classy friends than a B and B. Very comfortable and lots of thoughtful little touches. Delicious (I'm guessing) Italian dinner available with pre-booking (we couldn't arrive in time to try it). Breakfast was outstanding. Cute dogs and kitten to pet. Great location and good tips for local visits.
