Well situated in Alnwick but very difficult to access, the reception is closed and building locked until the bar opens, the car park is ample but the access is incredibly tight to navigate .

Decor is bright and uplifting. Room lighting has controls for all moods. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Evening meal was first rate. Location just off the A1, so convenient when travelling to/from Scotland.

We had a fantastic stay at The White Swan. Everything was top rate, delightful room, great attentive staff and simply wonderful food. Amazing breakfasts, wonderful cake in the room each day - and truly special dinners, some of the best dishes that we have had for some time. A brilliant base to explore the wonders of the region. Absolutely lovely place! Lovely room, comfy bed, good shower and good facilities in the room. Somewhere secure to put our bikes. Really friendly staff, tasty breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location in the Upper Coquet valley.

I went for my wedding anniversary. Location was perfect so quiet. Venue is absolutely fantastic especially the grounds. Food was worth going. Can’t get food like that for the money we paid anywhere else.Can’t wait to book again 😊

Perfect location and base for visiting local attractions and relaxing. The choice of food and wine were excellent, as was the attention from Staff. Rooms above The Bosk are exceptional. We didn't have time to try the many other facilities but they all looked excellent. Very tranquil surroundings and good for walking in farmland-type lanes.

Staff are great, nothing too much trouble. Food delicious and masses of it. Leisure facilities are great with private changing rooms, great pool, sauna and steam room. Rooms are big with lovely bathrooms and it is so quiet - great nights sleep! Will be back for a longer visit
