The rooms were very large and well equipped. The staff were excellent although very stretched. We had to leave the hotel before breakfast started but when the staff found out they quickly cooked us some pastries to take with us. The location overlooking the loch is really good.

This is a fairly remote location with spectacular scenery, both at the hotel and close by. Apart from nature (and the great food and drink in the hotel) there is not a lot to do. So relaxing is part of the power of the place. Wander around and watch the odd fisherman leave the quay and go out to their fishing boat. Watch the water and sky change at a moments notice. We were there in February so the whole area was relatively quiet, touring the island was easy from there.

Visited the area for Beo Music Festival and had just the best weekend of music and craic and the locals are fine folk indeed. Lovely views across sound of sleat and weather was cracking, but bring midgie spray :)

It was a great stay overall despite the broken promises from staff. Will give more detail below. The facilities were great, the restaurant was one of the best that we visit lately, hence the reason we had dinner there twice (despite the fact that it is pricy). Really clean, good environment, smiley staff.

Southern end of the Isle of Skye and we enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was great. The hotel has an art gallery and store next to it. There is a pier in front of the hotel with benches where people can sit and enjoy the view. it has a nice old world charm to it.
