Breakfast was amazing - this place met my expectations and more. The owners were so friendly and helpful, had lovely chats with them and the views were just beyond anything I could have imagined. The bed was so comfy, it was a well needed break while we attended an evening reception just 10 mins away. Would definitely stay here more than one night next time and make use of the hot tub.

It is a perfect little chalet with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and it has a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a nice patio area where you can enjoy the views. Shirley & Martin are lovely hosts to look after you.

Quiet area in the hillside. Olivia helpfulness and good communication throughout our stay. Her generosity in providing milk, tea, butter, treats etc. The warm, cosy, beautifully decorated apartment. Comfortable beds. Spotless space. Wonderful views. Lots of intersting information leaflets on the local area and guided walks.

Hotel owners have done a fine job, re-vamping this hotel.While the fishing port seems to be vibrant and busy the town overall looks neglected with buildings in need of refurbishment and very poor street surfaces. The town needs some good restaurants to showcase its rich fish heritage and activities to keep visitors in the town.

Kilkeel is a short drive from the property and has lots of shops,pubs & eatries.We visited Newcastle which is a lot bigger and also visited The Silent valley which is just beautiful and would highly recommend the countryside and mountains around the whole of this area are stunning.

Great location for exploring the Mournes and nearby Carlingford. Difficult to socialise due to government restrictions but everyone we met was really friendly. Felt much safer here than in other nearby towns.

My bedroom overlooked the garden, with the mountains and the sea in the distance - a truly lovely, relaxing view! The breakfast was magnificent. The hosts also provided home-made scones and treats on arrival - yum! There is good parking and the property is handy to Kilkeel, Carlingford and the Mournes. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough - I would give it 11 out of 10 if possible.PamUnited States

Tracey & Paddy are the finest - nice, decent and engaging folk with great chat & craic. And a great breakfast to top it all. I’m a new fan of vegetable roll (contains meat). No word of exaggeration - this gem is worth being a destination in it’s own right. It is and will be for me.

Beautiful location in the Mournes, 10/15 minute drive from both Kilkeel and Annalong, as well as the silent valley and all peaks. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The complimentary fudge and muffins were a lovely touch too. Uel was a great host, very helpful with any questions we had about our stay. Also cooked an excellent fry which set us up nicely for the days hike! Overall would highly recommend!

I can imagine it being light and breezy in the summer. Perfectly situated; Greencastle a short drive away, as is Kilkeel, and the Mournes. The sea a mere 5 minutes walk. The owners were very accommodating. I shall be returning next year...
