The room was comfortable and the bed was great.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The bar area was great but small and crowded (we picked a busy time)
The big disappointment was the food - Sunday evening meal was bad, very dried out mash, rock hard roast potatoes and a completely inedible Yorkshire pudding (obviously the last meal of the Sunday lunches). The chicken pie was good.
The breakfast was awful.

Nothing to like.
Nothing to like. Toilets dirty, room not that clean, food menu for evening meal poor and we were very ill after eating it. Charged £26.50 for breakfast when only had toast due to being ill all night. Fire doors slamming shut all night , dirty linen left on top of stairs all night

Really disappointing, we had a room with a view over a scrap area, that was messy as well as being ugly. The food was awful for dinner, the bar staff were sad, we weren't notified about the pool being closed.

Nearly cancelled due to bad reveiws. Stayed one night, staff were lovely, beautiful and spotless room. Grounds of the hotel were wonderful, didn't have food or breakfast, so I can't comment on those.

where we stayed,Two Brewers,in Chipperfield,Kings Langley, had a great location, easy to find and had a lovely front view across a green space and a lot of common area around with lovely walks.
we ate at the pub, breakfast was lovely and the evening meals we had were excellent.
Attractive, comfortable rooms. The beds are the most comfortable we've slept in. The food is delicious (we had breakfast and dinner). Service is friendly and efficient.
The hotel is in a beautiful historical building in a charming Hertfordshire village. There are lovely walks in the Hertfordshire countryside directly from the hotel.
We stay in this hotel 3 or 4 times a year when visiting family and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area.
Fantastic location for Harry potter at warner brothers and kings langley train station.
Really old quirky building so don't expect modern plush. Staff were lovely .
Bed comfortable and all clean linen. Walls to adjoining room a bit thin so noise carried. Shower was a bit of a struggle , but all in all for the price and location it was fantastic. Wish we'd had breakfast option , not available weekdays. However having a bar was great for the evening!!
We loved the comfy beds, and the hotel were able to arrange joining rooms with a connecting door which was perfect for our young kids. The breakfast was fantastic and we loved been able to go for a swim with the children before breakfast. We had the pool to ourselves. The location is perfect for Harry Potter studios. Would recommend.
We have just stayed at the Kings Lodge Hotel for a couple of nights. It was convenient for our visit to Harry Potter World, good choice, very clean, friendly staff, especially Sue the barmaid/waitress and the food was homecooked and potions were very good to. Definitely recommend thus Hotel.
Nice location and hotel grounds are lovely, very scenic. Breakfast was included as b&b, food were good and satisfactory. The hotel double room was clean & comfy although compact. Restaurant food quality very good and the restaurant staff were friendly, professional and helpful.
fantastic location to visit Warner bros studio, Harry Potter. 20 minutes walk from train station & about a 30 minutes walk to the Harry Potter studio. Lovely characteristic pub, friendly & helpful staff! The food was delicious & good value for money😊
It’s an ideal place to stay at if you are visiting the Warner Bros. studios. It looks just like the pubs from the movie.
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, keep looking, but if you like a unique stays surrounded by locals- you found your place.
The Two Brewers was better in every respect thatn the hotel I stayed in the previous night. The room was better, the food was better, the bar was better and the staff were more friendly. To cap it all, it was also cheaper and only four miles away.
The staff were so lovely and helpful, the room and the shower was very clean. The bed was so comfy and the hotel was lovely inside and out. The bar was lovely as well and there was plenty of seating to relax and have a drink.
The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious and served very quickly. Particularly grateful to Sarah for calling me a taxi back to the station when I couldn't get any mobile reception.
Only reason we stayed at hotel waa due to Harry Potter musuem, but we were super happy about our choice to stay at Two Brewers. The area was wonderful. Felt comfortable & safe.
