Lovely little pod, we enjoyed our stay here more than the posh Kingshouse Hotel. Lots of tea provided as well as a fridge, microwave and utensils. So with the Co-Op just down the road it was ideal. Great location if you are passing as past of your West Highland Way adventures. Would recommend and we hope to stay again.

It looked sombre at first but it was actually very comfortable and had all the facilities. Adequate room and place for relaxing. Handy for the coop to get supplies.

The apartment was clean with a lovely renovated kitchen and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the views to the mountains were lovely. Kinlochleven is a sweet little village with a beautiful walk to a waterfall. It was a good stop driving from Isle of Skye to Perth.

Nice mix of uk & international travelers, busy site in May, but the site coped well.
The place was extremely nice. You could take this place for staycation. Thé location was also nice and quiet with mountain view and riverside activities. The house could accommodate 4 people. It was neat and clean and had all the required amenities in it. But there is only very few shops nearby.

Lovely quiet place, an ideal launching point to climb the Mamore hills, or else a short drive over to Glen Coe or Glen Nevis. Some other pretty local walks, although be aware all of them involve an uphill slog of 200-300 metres early on.

After a very long walk in to Kinlochleven a visit to the pub, the Tailrace Inn, was in order prior to going to the campsite. Very friendly. The town seemed very nice with good facilities, amenities and surrounded by mountains. Big hike out the following morning toward Fort William on the WHW.

Lovely little place with simple but delicious restaurant options. It’s directly on the West Highland Trail so hiking is easy right from your front door. There are other trails and if you catch the weather there are some good spots in the river for swimming. As if that wasn’t enough this town is nestled into the highlands and surrounded by stunning views while you’re here and while you’re driving to it. It’s worth visiting more than once!
Nice little place for a quick overnight stay as the West Highland Way walk comes to a close. Overall there is a bit of a hostel feel to the place as most facilities are shared (showers, toilets) and the pod itself is very small. Yet it does the job just fine. The vibe is top notch as everyone is so buzzed to reach Kinlochleven and only have one more day left on the trail. Oh and the lady working there is brilliant--its really nice to be greeted with an enthusiastic and friendly smile after a 20 mile day on the trail.
We are a party of 6, with 4 walking the West Highland Way Due to covid We wanted to be organised and ensure everything was in place and phoned to speak with the hotel a few weeks before arriving for restaurant recommendations The staff were wonderful.and we’re recommended a lovely eating place - The Highland Getaway (a lovely evening meal) .
Very welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. The Scottish breakfast was amazing, extra tea / coffee / toast as required.
Will definitely return
Great location - Kinlochleven is the epitome of "surrounded by hills", almost like being at a Norwegian fjord-head. Liked all the local touches in the cosy and well-equipped Leven apartment - historic pictures of the village etc. (and all the highland and island OS maps wallpapering the porch and bathroom!). Tara the host was excellent and very friendly and helpful in all her communications.
The location was great. Kinlochleven is a quaint mountain town and we are glad we chose to stay there. The property was well decorated, had a well stocked kitchen, great hot tub, wonderful view, and everyone in our family loved it! lots of room to spread out. I would recommend it to any family looking for a peaceful getaway in Scotland. Wish we would have stayed longer!
Great value stay in Kinlochleven along the West Highland Way. Met our expectations being affordable and a hostel. 4 person room was comfortable enough and good to have a bathroom in the room. Kitchen facilities looked excellent although we didn't use these, and nice lounge areas for guests with included tea and coffee.
Great location near Grey Mares waterfall; spacious for our family of four; nice little den area that was well stocked with movies, books, games and breakfast items. Not far from activities in Glencoe. Great communication from the host as well! Would definitely stay longer than one night the next time we visit the area!
Basically Everything! It was an absolute perfect stay from check-in to check-out and everything in between.
We were so lucky to have booked Allt Na Leven and it exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with and the hosts and accommodations exceeded our already high expectations!
Great inn in Kinlochleven just off the West Hoghland Trail. Exceptional host with all kinds of local info. Well appointed room with great view of river and surrounding mountains. Good vegetarian options for breakfast. Lovely stay was a trip highlight
Great location in the centre of Kinlochleven and we had a very warm welcome from the staff. Room was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Lovely breakfast served in the pub next door and again staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely light and airy room with a good ensuite. Jayne and Stephen were friendly and helpful. A great breakfast prepared with attention to detail. Kinlochleven is a great location Loch Leven and the hills surrounding are stunning
The location is great, close to the centre and with plenty of facilities nearby (a coop, some pubs). The building is nice, breakfast was great and with lots of options and the room was quite big and clean.
20210712-14 Location right near WHW. Host was awesome! Great kitchen and labeling system. Large, spacious common areas. My room was ensuite and had nice hot showers. Had best night's sleep!
Stayed for a night whilst journeying home from Skye.
Fantastic location, clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff.
Kinlochleven was beautiful, great fish and chips.
Would stay again.
Chef's special soup was excellent. Good to have individual heating previous hotels on this trip depended on central heating and we have felt the cold of the north of UK.
Really enjoyed our stay, awesome location with great views. Clean, fresh and warm.
Loved the little walk along to the The Tailrace Inn, great little pub
