Good comfy beds with a decent size room. Quiet location with onsite free parking. Only place I will stay when travelling this way! Restaurant food is lovely but a bit pricey.

The food was DIVINE - we didn't feel the need to go out for lunch on a single night that we stayed there. We assume they must get locals eating there too - I know I would if I loved nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. There was a bit of confusion regarding our rooms (I'd recommend calling them directly instead of booking through booking.com, it makes amendments FAR easier), but the staff member I spoke to called me back after about 15 minutes to inform me that everything was sorted. Minimal fuss! The rooms could maybe do with a bit of updating, (I'm not sure if they're in the process of doing this already?) but they were perfectly comfortable and I slept like a baby.

I liked the professionalism of the staff the politeness and the hotel itself. The staff greeted us with big smiles and are very courteous. The hotel room itself exceeded our expectations. The room itself is massive and the bathroom was equally impressive. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in and defiantly worth the price

Exceptional stay.
Exceptional stay. Lovely staff, fabulous food and the room was beautiful with lots of character
The food was cooked to perfection and good value for money.
It was clean and myself and my partner slept so well as the bed was so comfortable.
We had a brilliant night at the newly refurbished hotel. A stylish and gorgeous suite with a gigantic and comfortable bed, bed night’s sleep in ages. We stayed in room 5 which also had a leather sofa in the TV area, and a massive en-suite with a spa bath. Decor and ambiance was pure luxury and I highly recommend it. The food in the newly relaunched restaurant was superb and the team were great. A first class experience to rival and even exceed many five star hotels. Highly recommended.
I was very fortunate that at 6.30 pm they had a room available for me as the hotel I was supposed to be staying in had lost my booking.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and, the hotel appears to be going through a refurbishment, and has been completed to a very good standard, particularly the décor and fittings.
It was nice being able to leave via the side door and there was ample parking to the rear.
The bed was comfortable and the location quiet.
Room fantastic, very clean and comfortable. Parking easy and location quiet but convenient.
Easy check in and out. Breakfast box a great idea, convenient and sufficient - better than expected.
In room spa bath fantastic and whole room very tidy and clean with good facilities. Hotel tidy and clean generally.
The room was amazing, one of the bar staff/waitresses called 'Ocean' is an absolute credit to the hotel! Nice as you want and couldnt help enough. Polite and friendly to talk to aswell. We had a rough night sleep and arrived for breakfast late, its Wanstead an issue for either ocean or the chefs.
Nice decent hotel that ticks all the boxes at a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable. Off road parking. I haven't eaten there but the bar and restaurant looks very good and appear to be popular with locals which is always a good sign.
A pretty little hotel, situated in a small village. The staff were fantastic, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had an evening meal which was excellent, as well as a breakfast supplied to us for the morning. Overall a welcoming and friendly place to stay.
it was quiet and peaceful, staff were lovely, well appointed room which made a change from the usual chain hotels, beds comfortable, windows opened wide (unlike many hotels) and food was amazing
