We went to Kirbymoorside first 35 years ago on our short honeymoon. It has not changed at all since that time and is a beautiful place to visit being an historic and beautiful yorkshire village which we return to regularly.

Third stay at Juniper Cottage this year. It really is like the pictures. Beautifully decorated and furnished and super comfy beds. Has everything you need. Owner also very kindly provided fresh milk, tea bags, instant coffee and a Nespresso machine and pods as well as a basket full of chocolate biscuits, crisps and sweets. What a lovely gesture. Feel really at home here. Location is superb, right in the centre of Kirkbymoorside and close to restaurants, bars and shops. Plus there's free on street parking. Will definitely return.

The rooms were lovely, very large, nice decor with home comforts, full of light and great views. Very comfortable beds and we loved watching the lambs and wildlife in the fields outside. Easy parking right outside the door and only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Kirkbymoorside. Breakfast was excellent - as much as you could eat, many choices. Food in the Feather & Beak restaurant was delicious, locally sourced and cooked by a local chef with some great menu ideas. A little expensive but good as a treat !

This charming cottage is centrally located in the beautiful market town of Kirkbymoorside. The courtyard garden is a little oasis. It is set over 3 floors, which added to it's charm. Close to pubs, cafes and shops. A great base to travel to surrounding towns of Helmsley, Malton and Pickering, plus easy access to North York Moors, and smaller villages. Next door neighbour and her dogs were lovely, considering they live next to a holiday let, and have to accept changeover of guests every other week.

A lovely welcome from the owners, with great advice on where to eat locally and tips ie use the park and ride for Whitby. The breakfast was tasty and huge portions. There’s a pretty courtyard to sit in, which we did with a few beers. The walk into kirkbymoorside was about 10-15 minutes for pubs. Food at the George and Dragon and the Kings Head was quality pub food in friendly welcoming pubs. For more variety of food and pubs you’d need to drive about 10 mins. We didn’t as only stayed for 2 nights.

Our stay was wonderful! Our room was very nice with all the amenities shown here. Our bed was comfy and the WiFi was good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good and fresh! We didn't get to have dinner there due to the chef's schedule conflict, hopefully next time. The area is quiet. Also, it isn't too far of a drive for any good pubs with good food in the area. Definitely recommend if you happen to be in the North York Moors area. Thank you.

The Cornmill was beautifully kept and furnished. The owners obviously care and work very hard on creating the right look and ambience for their property. Love how they’ve kept the original features of the mill and enjoy showing them off to their visitors. The breakfast was exceptional and delicious. Our bedroom and en-suite were decorated and furnished to a very high standard - loved the paint colour on the walls and the vintage furniture.

Lovely cottage, stylishly decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, great shower, very comfortable bed. We had no parking problems during our stay as we always found a space in the street close by. The cottage is situated in the centre of Kirkbymoorside, with easy access to pubs, shops & the weekly market. Highly recommend this property; we would definitely want to return.

Located in a small village adjacent to the outskirts of Kirkbymoorside it was very quiet and picturesque with easy access to a number of local walks. The welcome pack from the owners and facilities were excellent and the owners were on hand to hand the keys over and had heated the cottage prior to our arrival.
