Limited off-road parking, but I never had any problems parking on Alma Road. Allan not around when I arrived, but the check-in arrangements worked fine. Room 5, single: the private facilities (washbasin, toilet, bath, shower) are all next door, but dedicated to my room. The room itself had tea/coffee facilities, and plenty of storage space. Breakfast is the kind you pre-order (what you want, when you want it, presumably to cut down waste. A good choice of breakfasts, including vegetarian options, and Allan is a chatty host at breakfast time. There are also three lively small dogs; Allan did ask 'are you OK with them?'
Located in Corrie and with Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park reachable within 6.5 km, The Corrie Hotel provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.
So glad I took the time to read recent reviews. We almost stayed in Brodick closer to the ferry. This hotel is a beautiful place to stay. The owners are so friendly, the food is excellent, the gardens are tranquil and you feel a sense of tranquility. There is a bar and restaurant which is nice depending on your time of arrival. A stream goes through the gardens and just sitting outside is so peaceful. There is a trail nearby which takes you down to a remote Bea h with beautiful scenery. Well worth a visit.
I would say for travelers going by car to take the coastal road and not the Ross road.

The owners must make it clear that their restaurant no longer exists prior to making a non refundable booking
It is also unacceptable that it took 2 days to return my phone call
It should be marketed as a simple B&B rather than a hotel.

Owners and staff at Lagg very helpful and friendly.
Owners and staff at Lagg very helpful and friendly. The best part about our trip was the very hot water after a day's cycling followed by a dram by the fire and the superb cooking, using freshest, local ingredients.

Peaceful setting, not alot there, you are soon through it.
Peaceful setting, not alot there, you are soon through it. Lagg distillery is just down the road where they have tours, an excellent coffee lounge and a bistro where we had an excellent meal at a pop up event, which they have regularly through the year. Staff cannot do enough for you.

From check in to check out we felt the customer service was superb even though the hotel was full and very busy, the owners couldn’t do enough for you, with smiles on their faces. Our rooms were comfortable, decorated lovely and the bathrooms were huge! Dinner was amazing, delicious and well presented. Breakfast was great, the fruit was fresh and tasty as was the fully cooked full Scottish, we loved the quiet but beautiful location with the flowing river and bridge! And the roaring fire in the lounge was lovely. We will definitely visit again.
the hotel has very good food service, the dinner is superb, and the breakfast has a lot of options including the full hot breakfast. the location is in the main street, so is very easy to locate, and the bus stop is just in front of it, and also is a very tranquil and quiet area. the hotel is decorated very elegantly and with a lot of victorian details. Also, they have a nice garden where you can relax by reading a book or taking a whisky.
The personnel was very kind and helpful, making my stay as comfortable as possible.
Jules & Lee and all the staff were very welcoming, any request we had was met with ease & pleasure and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty and plentiful, and our room was comfortable. The Lagg is dog-friendly too which was great and we especially loved the 'kids' room' downstairs & lounge area for chilling out and playing games. The surroundings & gardens are beautiful and lush, even in March! Never seen to many bumble bees at this time of year before :)
The attention we received made us feel special and judging from the interaction with other guests, they felt the same. The room size and facilities was much more than we expected and the decor and maintenance was exceptional. The food was Michelin standard and I remember during dinner the background music " lovely day ". And it was. And it was a lovely stay! We are already planning our next vacation and working out where we will stay before and after the Lagg hotel.
A charming, comfortable, spotlessly clean hotel in beautiful mature gardens. It has ample car parking. Pre-ordering breakfast ensured an efficient service. The food at the Lagg is absolutely delicious - fresh produce, imaginatively presented - the liver dish was superb. Full marks to the chef.
The hosts are lovely people - they know the island very well and locals and guests are equally welcome.
This was a first-class experience.
Quite a remote little valley, so very quiet. The hotel is quite dated in terms of decor (think seventies or eighties) but it is a charming old inn. Food was great and staff pleasant and helpful. It rained torrentially the one night I was there but the gardens looked like they would be gorgeous to sit in. There is a bus stop right outside so very handy if using public transport to get around the island.
Very comfortable hotel, especially the bedrooms. Finished to a high decorative standard, the rooms were cosy, even without without the heating on. The staff were very friendly and helpful with bike storage etc and providing useful local information. I would definitely use again.
The owners are especially nice and attentive. We got the date wrong on our end, but they went out of their way to get us in a room. If you have any reason to be on Isle of Arran, seriously consider staying here for a pleasant, relaxing time.
gorgeous property! it’s like something out of a storybook. the room was amazing! the garden was blooming and popped with colors. the staff super sweet and hospitable and of course the hotel dog, Mia was most welcoming!
The host and hostess were very pleasant indeed and made us feel welcome and well looked after. The atmosphere in the bar was friendly. There was an easy walk from the hotel to the beach which was stunning.
This was a lovely hotel, full of character and with really kind and helpful staff. The owners are absolutely excellent hosts and were so attentive to my young family. The food was absolutely excellent too
We had a lovely stay at the Lagg hotel. It's a friendly, relaxed and comfortable place in a beautiful location. The gardens are lovely and have a river flowing through them. A real find, we loved it.
Great secluded hotel with friendly owners. Would love to go again once COVID restrictions lifted to experience the hotel and bar . Great stop over if your doing the Arran way and dog friendly
The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and the hotel was very cosy with a lovely bar and lounge area! The surrounding gardens and river were beautiful too.
Ideal location for visiting the new Lagg distillery. Room most comfortable and the garden room/guest lounge a bonus. Breakfast was slick and very tasty.
