The hotel was a bit remotely located but that also meant it was more quiet. Good check in and nice rooms. Had a great view from the room on a meadow with forest in the back where we enjoyed watching rabbits eat and play. Windows could be opened for fresh air.

The cooked breakfast was pretty good. I would have preferred normal bacon to streaky.
I had to go & actually do the toast after my breakfast had arrived, when it started to go cold. I would have liked to have been asked what toast I would like then had it brought to me.

If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result.
The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you
The hotel is designed as a stopover for travellers along the M4, so the surrounding facilities are limited to those of a (quite decent) motorway service station. The rooms and public areas were clean and recently upgraded, although the bathroom was tired and the sofa bed needed recovering. The reception area was cheerful and offered a good selection of snacks and drinks. The receptionist was friendly and super helpful, even giving us a hand with our heavy suitcase.
the ease of access into the services and the hotel is set back from the main car park, so is quieter than some I’ve been in. As booked far enough in advance it was very reasonable and importantly allowed a dog. The room itself, was as expected spartan but comfortable , with a bathroom , yes an actual small bath and not just a shower. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall for a service stations hotel, it fits the bill well. And has free Wi-Fi.
Hotel rooms how they used to be. There was lots of space, a desk and chair, a lovely bed and a a mattress with a bounce. There was a trouser press that's probably not been used since 1993 but I slept better knowing it was there. There were spare towels, spare pillows, a hairdryer and windows you could actually open - and best of all, a bath! The staff were so nice and friendly too. Given the price, my stay was outstanding value for money.
'Days Inn' 'M4 West' Membury ... speaking for myself (+ 'anonymously' please!) it was ideal. Keot very clean and the surroundings ... and the staff that I met, 'Alvin' and night staff person; Alice and Laura the 'assintant managers', were all very friendly nice, please would you thank them all (and, all the staff whom I didn't meet!) for they all kept the Membury 'Days Inn' hotel in very good, clean order ... thank-you 'all'!
It's a hotel on the side of the motorway - so it's great for short, cheap stays. It doesn't claim to be anything it's not. The furniture is old and it isn't pretty by any stretch of the imagination - but it's cheap, comfortable enough, and clean, so I can't fault it.
The property was very clean with good sized rooms and very comfortable beds the manager Sam couldn’t be more helpful she made our stay very enjoyable ,will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go to this area .
Thanks Sam
I've stayed here before as this hotel is on the M4 services and perfect for a good night's sleep if you need to break up your journey. No frills, but perfectly comfortable.
Nice and easy to get too, I wish they had us about the short cut over the m4 on the 1st night, as it would have saved us a long travel down the M4 to get to to Lambourne
