The cooked breakfast was pretty good. I would have preferred normal bacon to streaky.
I had to go & actually do the toast after my breakfast had arrived, when it started to go cold. I would have liked to have been asked what toast I would like then had it brought to me.

The food was exceptional at dinner and breakfast. Service was superb. We arrived late because of traffic issues but were still fed and watered! One of the best steaks we have had. A very talented chef. The rooms were really clean, good and quite quirky with very generous amount of drinks and bathroom bottles provided for guests.

If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result.
The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you
A nice, surprisingly quiet hotel given the circumstances (near a busy motorway and a shopping center). The room and the bathroom were of good quality, clean and spacious, featuring all I needed including an electric kettle (and free coffee, tea bags, and little milk 'pots") and even a hairdryer. The mattress was VERY comfortable. I had a good rest in that hotel thus I can recommend it to others.
Check in was quick and simple. Located slightly away the main services so it was quiet with no traffic (car or pedestrian) going past the hotel/windows. Despite proximity to motorway the room was silent. Welcome to as many tea/coffee sachets as you like. Key card entry with lock AND safety chain in room, as a lone female traveller I appreciated this.
Reception staff helpful - when we arrived we had to walk to car park - as I'm disabled we were unaware that the car park was not near the hotel. we were told if we wanted to wait until after 9pm we could park next to the car parked already there, but not in the fire engine and other emergency spots. We did not do this as we were tired.
The hotel is clean and comfortable with everything you need. When we first arrived Sam the manager instantly made us feel at home and has made our stay enjoyable, also she went out of her way to make sure we was okay! All the staff are friendly and very approachable, so don’t hesitate to ask for anything! Will definitely stay again :)
The hotel is easy to find if you are travelling on the motorway and want to take break for the night. The room was large and the hotel next to the service area of motor way therefore, one have a lot of options for dinner or breakfast.
The guest service I received from the night porter Alwin De Melo was exceptional. From the way he directed me into the hotel as I was traveling Eastbound to advising how to leave in the morning was brilliant. A credit to your hotel
Basic but clean, I am a regular user of this hotel however this time it was more expensive than I am used to paying here. Going forward I will look around as not worth the extra I paid this time.
I've stayed here before as this hotel is on the M4 services and perfect for a good night's sleep if you need to break up your journey. No frills, but perfectly comfortable.
