The lady we met in the bar of the adjacent pub showed us to the room and was there again at breakfast. She was kind and thorough.

Hotel location, in beautiful Richmond, is superb. Staff were friendly, and the check-in process was simple. My single room was pretty small, but sufficient for one night’s stay. The downstairs pub was welcoming and had a very good selection of local beers. The first floor breakfast room was lovely, and made for a relaxed, enjoyable breakfast. There was a nice choice of breakfast options too, including full English and eggs Benedict. The ingredients were good quality, and it was all perfectly cooked.
