Friendly, obliging & helpful staff. Our room was spotless. Lots of hot water with A BATH(hooray)! In the very large bathroom!!!! Staff readily provided a cooling fan for our small, hot bedroom.

The location was like something one has dreamt about, it is beautiful beyond belief. The landlady is so lovely and helpful, she helped me out a couple of times. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities you need. The breakfast was nice. I will definitely be back.

We loved everything about it! Our biggest thing was how dog friendly the place was, I've never stayed somewhere where I genuinely felt like my dog was as welcome as we were. The host told us about walks we could go on and offered use of a secure field. Location was perfect, remote enough for a quiet weekend away but close enough to local amenities. The hot tub was a lovely addition too. We wished we could have stayed longer it is so peaceful and made for a perfect relaxing break. Although this was a very last minute, one night only booking, and we didn't get to experience the full package right down to breakfast or dinner, the hotel 150% met our expectations. Room was spacious, clean with modern, also very clean bathroom. Couldn't have asked for better. Will definitely book The Ship Inn again should we find ourselves in the area.
