Breakfast and choice was great. Location spot on central for a great shopping experience. Any one travelling by train is on the doorstep not that you hear any trains. All in all a great hotel and staff so friendly.
Would definitely stay again.

ALL staff: housekeeping, reception, waiting and chefs are very helpful, friendly and efficient and it was great to see some young waiting staff who were also full of fun
Beautiful location
There's a little patio to sit on in front of a spacious well proportioned bedroom with a large well fitted shower room with gorgeous products
From the hand wash & hand lotion to the shampoo & conditioner and the body wash everything matches in fragrance and great quality
The large variety of teas, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits in the room are also of very good quality
Each room, of the garden rooms is divided by some planters filled with colourful, fragrant and beautiful flowers and shrubs
Sitting outside on one of the chairs looking at the beautiful old church I felt like I was sitting outside my own little cottage
The birdsong added to the lovely overall ambience of the place
The breakfast choice was vast, but again great quality throughout
Everything tasted fresh, home cooked and delicious 😋
A few worthy mentions: there's a choice of scrambled, poached or fried with the full English, all pastries are made with butter
And there's dairy milk alternatives, including oatmilk & decaffeinated tea and coffee available both in the restaurant and guest rooms
Photos and descriptions didn't do it justice!

My own stay was ok, Any guests who have access difficulties or are a wheel chair user may have a few problems here. Please note this is a nice Old Hall and sometimes it is difficult to make all accessibility possible due to steps between floors etc. there are lifts but they are small.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great space for night life, cafes and restaurants - people mostly are passive aggressive customer service is really bad overall in most shops / establishments i visited. Example Timpson's and The community chairty furniture shop, they were so rude and so were the hosts in restaurants. But would highly recommend the Culvino Lounge 1000% top nottch customer service :-) The rest

The setting of the hotel was lovely.
The setting of the hotel was lovely. It was also in a good location to access other local towns. Letchworth Town centre is lovely. Plenty of eateries, so many choices. Friendly locals. Great charity shops and plenty of them.

Amazing location, staff and facilities. The late checkout was really appreciated as I didn't have to be at work until the afternoon. Breakfast buffet was well stocked, with plenty of choice. Would happily stay again

This is an old and scruffy hotel.
This is an old and scruffy hotel. The staff are not trained and are rude and unhelpful.
This hotel needs a professional manager to instil some discipline and training. I'm not surprised that we got a room when all the other hotels and pubs in the area were booked.
The hotel had lovely grounds, and inside a nice bar and dining room with a big beamed ceiling and a little terrace outside to have a drink on. The staff were pleasant and mostly accommodating. The room was a little dated, which I didn't mind, as it was big with a huge bed and lovely view. The location was convenient for us, with a couple of pubs in the village a short walk away.
Clean, comfortable and very spacious room (considering it was a Single). Decent bathroom, and a filling buffet breakfast in the morning. I used the hotel mainly as an overnight stop prior to going to the Shuttleworth Collection near Biggleswade the next day, but its location right in the town centre meant I could sample the delights of Letchworth in the evening as well.
The included access to the Nuffield Health Centre is just excellent - a large swimming pool with lane swimming and a sauna & steam room were much appreciated after a long drive. The opening hours are also long, enabling even an early morning swim too..
The welcome was good, the old part of the hotel is charming. A nice terrace to sit & have a drink + picnic benches.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite. I left my handbag with my purse in at the hotel. we were on our way back to Manchester and the lady on reception to inform me, but we were 2 hours away. We arranged for a courier to pick the bag up and it was all packaged up and returned to me. I am very grateful for the service I received.
Everything really. The location and the building itself are perfect. All of the staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful, even during busy times. Food (when I ate there) was very nice, kind of place you go back to to eat, even if you're not staying there. Definitely one of my top places to stay, and I basically live in hotels because of work.
The staff were very friendly, the setting wonderful, The Fox pub did great food. Decor of the room was wonderful. Comfy bed (but see below). Very dog friendly in the bar. Great walks from the door for the dog. Lots of parking. Can charge a car if needed at a BP Pulse at the hotel Mecure 10 mins away.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful despite being busy with another large group and a football team. They did everything they could to deal with our requests. The restaurant/bar staff were particularly helpful. Food was great and quick particularly given numbers.
We have stayed at this lovely hotel on quite a few occasions - would not stay anywhere else when visiting family in Letchworth. the whole experience is delightful - the staff go out of their way to make us feel welcome and the food is always top-rate.
The staff were really friendly. They got us an electric fan as it was hot in our bedroom. The decor downstairs for food etc was excellent. Hotel was in central Letchworth right near the main shops.
Beautiful building and grounds, lovely garden restaurant and bar. Garden room was fantastic. Staff are brilliant, very professional and efficient, they are a credit to the hotel.
Very nice hotel. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and I love the style and decorations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Parkland setting. Comfortable room. Happy efficient staff. Swimming pool and steam room. Good breakfast . Dog friendly . Dinner was surprisingly good for chain hotel
Available for date required in location required at price can afford. Very tasty food offered in bar area. Bed comfy. Nice town to walk around in. On-site parking
