A beautiful, quaint and quirky building, complete with ‘good old fashioned ‘ creaky floorboards and we love it ! Each room has its own theme / decor and name, we stayed in Coyney room ,which was lovely and spacious, bathroom too, also a very large bed ! (SO comfy)
Breakfast (full English) was hot and tasty, the staff were both friendly and attentive, we honestly have nothing negative to say about this ‘Luxury B&B’
Highly recommend…..
(2 minute walk and in the heart of Lichfield, recommend going to ‘The Spiritualist’ for a drink, which is just over the road … great place , also friendly and accommodating!

Very friendly, helpful staff, excellent location and a fantastic breakfast..
What a lovely surprise Lichfield was! It’s only 23 miles down the road from us and we had never been. A lovely historic city with a stunning cathedral and lots of lovely old pubs to work your way through!
There is a lovely atmosphere about the place, with well kept park areas adjoining the city centre to walk or just sit and watch the world go by with a large Minster pool to walk around. The locals were friendly, it was surprisingly free of litter and graffiti
We would deffinately go back there for a day out as opposed to spending a day in our own town

Lichfield is lovely.
Lichfield is lovely. It has a lot more independent shops than most places and always have a nice feel about it. It's also surrounded by green spaces to take a break if you're all shopped out. Plus the cathedral if that's your thing. We've never struggled to park nor witnessed any antisocial behaviour while in town. I'd highly recommend a visit!

Compact City centre, oodles of food outlets, pubs, quirky and independent shops, accommodation outlets, cathedral tours, Xmas markets, etc ..👍
Easy place to wander around. Great pubs like Kings Head, George and Dragon, Feathers, Earl of Lichfield, Angel, George IV. Fantastic restaurants like Ego, Ask Italian, McKenzie's, etc .. And, there's always Wetherspoons ( the Acorn) for value for money drinks/food options too😉👏
One of the most friendliest places in the UK you will find☺️

My first visit to Lichfield and I loved it.
My first visit to Lichfield and I loved it. Like a smaller version of York. We had a college reunion and stayed at the Best Western George Hotel, Bird Street. Some great bars we visited, topped off by the Beerbohm, a bar that sells Belgian beers. Ever since our visit to Bruges I've kept my eye out for ZOT beer (it means 'fool' hence the jester logo). They had it on draught no less. Very nice, cosy and friendly bar. We enjoyed a meal at 'Ego', a very nice Italian place that was excellent. Great food and service.
Attractive hotel of character.
The bedroom was large and the beds were comfortable. Good bathroom with nice shower / bath. Lots of helpful extras (such as bath robes, coffee making, ironing equipment).
Lichfield is always a lovely place to visit and the hotel is well placed in the centre. Easy walking to shops, market, cafes, cathedral, etc.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good restaurant on site. Outside seating if wish for the bar.
This is a luxury b and b with lovely public rooms, antique wood furniture in the bedrooms, quality toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a good breakfast choice. We were in the Victoria Room, with a private bathroom across the corridor, I don't know what other rooms offer.
The hotel is close to the city centre with easy parking at the side and back .
Stayed for one night. Staff extremely friendly and gave all the necessary information I needed on my stay. Bed was so comfy! There were lots of mirrors and loads of storage in the rooms and would be a great place for staying long time with a short walk (about 5/10 mins) to Lichfield City Centre.
Location was perfect, we were attending the Remembrance Service at the Cathedral so we could walk in and out of the city centre.
Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Even the neighbours were friendly and stopped for a chat.
Highly recommend this apartment
The room was large and airy, well ventilated, on a very hot day. Bed was comfortable and the shower was very hot and powerful. Staff were helpful and friendly, the bar was a great place for us to gather, chat and have a drink together. I really liked the hotel.
Our 60 year old lives in Lichfield and he is dying of cancer. We needed to stay nearby to visit him. Holiday Inn was convenient and comfortable and the staff were very supportive to we two 90 year olds, although they did not know why we there.
The apartment was perfect for our weekend break in Lichfield. It was warm, comfortable and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was only a 15 minute, pleasant walk to the city centre.
Location was fantastic - quiet street, but only minutes from the Cathedral and city centre, with fabulous eating options. Would happily go back if in the area, and recommend others to do the same!
Good breakfast, excellent location, good value for money . Been visiting this hotel every Christmas for 3 years, in order to visit family in Lichfield. Wouldn't go anywhere else .
The breakfast was good, although the area was very busy. This meant queues for tea and coffee, plus toast!
However, the young men in attendance kept everywhere clean and tidy.
Location - nice and central to city centre.
Room was spacious.
Staff were friendly.
Clearly marked and easy access from road.
Lots of available parking.
Quiet nights sleep.
Excellent hosts who had gone to a lot of effort to make us feel welcome. Very quiet location but with easy access to local amenity and the city centre.
