A friendly pub with lovely rooms. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, excellent food, and very good options for gluten-free, which was so appreciated! Extensive wine list, quality cocktails and attentive service.

I loved the location, the size of the room and facilities, lots of quiet dog walks literally from outside the door. The pub was very close to Midhurst and other very pretty villages so eating out was not a problem, just a shame that I would have occasionally eaten in the pub restaurant but it only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

Owner was very hospitable and welcoming. She allowed us to charge our ev with a convenient outside socket and kindly agreed to heat up our noodles, as we had mistakenly thought we'd booked a self-catering unit (our mistake!).
The rooms were tidy and comfortable.

The property is situated two minutes walk from Petersfield rail station, tow minutes from a LIDL, three minutes from an ALDI, five minutes from an ASDA, and only five minutes downhill into the town, where there's a large WAITROSE. Shopping is therefore no problem. The town also abounda with cafes, restaurants and Bars of all nationalities, some of which are of good quality, and have 'special offers'. We arrived by car, and after parking, which is to be fair, limited, we walked everywhere for meals and sightseeing. Daytime outings by road saw us in National Trust properties nearby. The town of Minstead and the City of Winchester are fairly close, which has a spectacular Market. Petersfield has a Saturday market for local produce and is quite comprehensive. We were welcomed by the HOST, who was friendly, conversational, knowledgeable and provided a very elegant breakfast including fresh fruit and yogurt, and good coffee. The house rules are - no shoes - no smoking - no pets - and no noise, all of which we like, AND SEEK! Everthing was comfortable, clean, and provided, including USB phone charging, face flannels, refreshments and WiFi. Perfect for Petersfield, in fact.
Offering free WiFi and garden views, killarney barn is an accommodation set in Petersfield. The air-conditioned accommodation is 38 km from Southampton.

Liss is small but has a couple of small supermarkets, bakers, DIY, dentist, doctor, chemist, takeaways and a fantastic cafe called the Turtle Bean. It's about an hour and ten mins to London on the train.

Lovely village and very peaceful.
Lovely village and very peaceful. We were there for a family wedding in nearby hillage so limited time for visit.
Food at the Jolly Drover was extremely good and the staff very helpful and friendly
Food was lovely, for dinner and breakfast. Atmosphere good in the bar and lucky to be staying when they had an acoustic singer in 😀 bed very comfortable 😀 plenty of milk in the room for tea, which was a bonus as most hotel rooms have a basic amount. Bottles of water and biscuits also provided in the room. Good shower and room had everything we needed.
Stayed at the Jolly Drover for a society golf match at nearby Petersfield G.C. Friendly and efficient staff, particularly the breakfast team. Had one dinner and two breakfasts and all were excellent. Rooms clean and well equipped. Rainforest shower was great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when in the area.
Great little pub in a quiet country area. The meals were lovely and the room cost included a full breakfast. The bar is small but very comfortable with a good range of ales and standard beers. Very nice afternoon and evening spent at the hotel
Our 2nd time at The Jolly Drover, perfect location to visit friends in Petersfield, and to take our dogs for walks in beautiful Durford Woods only 5 minutes walk away.
Lots of free parking in hotel, food is good, live music Fri evenings.
Lovely family run inn, very friendly attentive staff, amazing food, great outdoor seating, far in front of the big hotels I usually stay in. And yes, state of the art wifi despite being rather off track.
The staff were excellent and always happy to help. Good choices for food and breakfast, and I actually had a good nights sleep in a hotel which is not normal for me.
Really friendly and helpful staff, very clean and quiet. The hotel went above and beyond to send back an item that I had left in my room - which I really appreciated.
