Many families visiting Liverpool loved staying at Hotel Tia, The Arc Hotel and The Glebe Hotel.
Liverpool is only a short drive away for us, we visit regularly for shopping dining and entertainment. It’s great for vegans so many options 2 of the best are vine cafe liverpool one and Maray Albert dock amazing outside seating area if the weather is nice. We still have so much to discover in Liverpool.
Our room was fine for a short trip our friend were next door they had a blocked sink in bathroom where someone was sick and they could not use asked for it to be fixed nothing done until next day when it couldn’t be fixed so they had to move rooms should have done that the first night
The city is vibrant, good places to eat, beautiful docks with restaurants and pubs as well as river cruises, and lots of green outdoor space. Abov all lovely people with great sense of humour. Pleased to see how it’s grown and developed since my last visit 30 years ago. Great for tourists.
The Hop On Hop Off bus is the best way to get your bearings. Discovered things I didn't know about Liverpool. Plenty of eating places and bars. Cavern Club is a must. Plenty of buses, though not needed as everything is pretty much central. Everywhere we went, people were friendly, helpful and great sense of humour.
Liverpool is a great city to visit on a number of levels; absolutely something for everyone. Dramatic location next to the Mersey, great waterfront and packed with historic buildings including two amazing cathedrals on one street! The Dock areas are vibrant with great bars and restaurants; indeed the whole city centre is full of eateries and traditional pubs and modern bars. Great shopping area with loads of choice. Add to that the music scene and the Beatles connection - Mathew Street and the Cavern area really are worth a visit. Always something to do, in bad weather there are numerous museums, galleries, theatre, both traditional and Beatles related, in good weather great for just walking and seeing the amazing buildings and history.
Liverpool is a vibrant city, what amazed us was the helpfulness of people. For example we stopped to ask a young girl for directions, she was amazing even got her phone out to call us a cab.We alsomet a guy who walked a distance with us to show us the best way to Anfield.
The location was the main reason I booked this hotel; it is ideally placed for sightseeing, being near Albert Docks, the Pier Head etc. Walking to both cathedrals, the Walker Gallery etc. was easy but for those who find walking difficult the Metro station is underneath the hotel with trains that go to Liverpool Lime Street and also underneath the Mersey to the Wirral and Chester! Liverpool One shopping centre and restaurants are also nearby. Our room was large and there was an ironing board and iron (not that I needed them).
The Ibis was easy to find, and off-site parking was conveniently located within walking distance of lots of sights and restaurants. The staff at Reception could have used a smile or two, but we checked in without a hitch. It seems all of Liverpool is Beatles-themed, as was our room! It was a little cramped, but not unusually so for a city hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Buffet breakfast was served in the lobby area, but we had no difficulty finding a table.
Location is fantastic in the city centre, with staff providing plenty of recommendations to explore the city. A lovely card written to the guest is presented once checked in and Andy advised us of the best places to park as well as the discounted restaurants offered. We also received an upgrade to our room upon arrival which was a wonderful bonus! Love the general vibe with the dark decor, would certainly recommend to anybody visiting Liverpool.
The location was fantastic, right by the docks which was super convenient. The docks has the Tate and a few other museums, and you're only a short 5 minute walk to Liverpool one and the City Centre. The hotel itself was very comfortable, nice and quiet and the rooms were well set out with plenty of space! Shower and bathroom was superb. The customer service was great, and there was always a friendly face to help answer any questions!
Perfect location for my less-than-24-hours in Liverpool (to visit Goodison Park for an FA Cup tie)...easy walk with hand-luggage to and from Lime Street station, and from hotel into central Liverpool, then out the other side for the footie. The facilities in the hotel were just what I needed for such a short stay; secure and comfortable room (albeit a little on the cosy/small side) and decent wi-fi, always important.
My first visit to Liverpool and our stay at the Pullam was great ....all rooms very modern and overall great hotel but what makes it is the Staff ....well trained and the friendliest bunch ever ,,,CAN DO attitude ...nothing was a hassle for them . This is how you treat guests folks ...solid 10 hospitality !!
Staff were excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area and city itself - they made us feel welcome and their enthusiasm added a personal touch to the hotel. Great location, close to city centre, docks, baltic triangle and train station.
Breakfast lovely, the room was stunning, the spa area was just what we needed & exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated in a prime location in the city centre & we left on Sunday feeling refreshed & reenergized.
Perfect from start to finish. Great location, great views, best parking I have had in a City Centre apartment and the apartment comes with everything you need to enjoy a break away. Will definitely be staying again!
Easy access to the city centre and the cleanliness of the hotel, which was being decorated whilst we were there, but wasn’t inconvenienced at all. The view across the docks was also nice from the restaurant/bar.
Location was great near the Albert Docks. Easy walk in to the city Centre. Staff were all lovely. Rooms very clean. And Breakfast was amazing. I will highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
