Friendly welcome and efficient checkin Room was compact but had everything required. it was nice and cosy on a wet and windswept night with minimal noise from outside. Nice neighbourhood with plenty of views, fresh air and some excellent local pubs for real ale. The Ossett Brewery Black Bull on Halifax Road is a must!! Some great local places for food. If you like a takeaway after a night out try Wok Ever Palace in Cleckheaton which is excellent for great food and delivery and Haighs Farm Shop up the Road for some well renowned Yorkshire Produce and interesting finds! Millbridge Fisheries is nearby for tasty Fish and Chips! What's not to love!!

I am always a little apprehensive when staying in...
I am always a little apprehensive when staying in accommodation that is new to me as standards do seem to vary. On this occasion however, my apprehension was unfounded as the geordie pride lodge was excellent on all levels and it will definitely be my place to stay when in the area again. There was nothing to dislike. The geordie pride lodge was clean, comfortable and with all the facilities as described with on-site parking. The room was clean.
The room was clean. Our shower was the best we have ever had away from home, good pressure and hot. Staff were all friendly. We ate our main meal at the Hotel, food was good. We find the Liversedge an ideal place to stay, easily accessible to other places.

Beds were extremely comfortable and the room had everything that we needed for a short stay, it was also a close drive to the John Smith Stadium where we were attending an event. Staff were absolutely lovely and they really made effort to welcome us and talk to us at breakfast. Food was traditional pub style but really enjoyed both an evening meal and breakfast.

The room is clean warm and comfortable with everything you would need. I have been staying in a chain hotel but didn't feel very safe and this is much better.
