Location us simply stunning. Quiet rural setting and fabulous views and just a few minutes drive to Amlwch and the northern most town in Wales - Cemaes Bay. Very friendly staff made us so welcome. Room was excellent. Dining room absolutely amazing - views over the rolling countryside. Will definitely come again.

The family were so welcoming and helpful from the off. Paddy very kindly booked me into a restaurant that served lobster for the following day. Nothing was too much trouble and Paddy and Lisa are the best of hosts. The bed was so comfortable I had a completely pain-free night, which is virtually unheard of. I really liked the continental breakfast and I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the whole place. I felt privileged to be so warmly welcomed so quickly.

Pauline and Malcolm were lovely hosts, and made you welcome. Any information you wanted, they provided, and nothing was too much trouble. The building was very nicely decorated and grounds maintained we'll.
The lodge was great for us. However my grandchildren are 6 and 3. The upstairs twin room wasn't suitable as it was a loft room with a high ladder up to it. This was too dangerous for the 3 year oldto stay in so they slept in the downstairs room instead. I don't feel the lodges are suitable for Children under 6. The hosts had many games available and other things for the children- these are kept in a room at the house, I was a little disappointed that we only became aware of this when we went to ask for something else on the third day of our stay-it would have been so useful to have known about this room at the beginning of our stay as it can be difficult entertaining little ones when the weather is bad. The place is out of the way so a car is highly necessary. The hosts helpfully had maps in each lodge with interesting places on it and how to get to shops, restaurants, beaches etc. The hosts were very friendly and available at a house a few metres away.

we expected a decent bedroom and not a rabbit hutch built in the roof space. even the sofa bed was awefull, we stayed one night and came home the next morning it was that bad, we booked for a week at 650 pounds and stayed one night after no sleep at all , it was so uncomfortable. diabolical. i would tell people to keep away, i am now seeking a refund but being ignored which says alot .
