The location was pretty and not far from the main road or the Welsh Botanical Garden.
The hosts could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
The room was scrupulously clean and the bed really comfortable.
Our dinner was delicious and far better than expected in a country inn. The menu was modern and the food cooked whilst we watched.

Llandeilo is a lovely market town, set on a hill with the majestic River Towy below, meandering West to Carmarthen. There are many places to eat from a quick snack to à la carte meals. It is reasonably easy to walk around the town, where you'll find many interesting shops. You might be surprised what you find at Peppercorn, Barr & Co, Rig Out Boutique, Toast, Mari Thomas Jewellery, The little Welsh Dresser, to name a few. We love it ... and would live there if the house we fancied hadn't been sold the day before we saw it. But we visit from afar every 2-3 months. Walkable with interesting shops, especially the craft shop and gallery with the work of many local artists and craftspeople. Provision & Pitchfork is a great stop for deli supplies & excellent breads, as well as snacky meals and good coffee. For garden lovers, nearby Aberglasney Gardens is a must visit.

Location, about 1 mile from town centre (uphill and downhill) pleasant walk passed entrance to Dinefwr Castle. Ruined Norman castle overlooking the River Tywi magnificent viewpoint able to climb ramparts to have best views entrance to castle is free but parking at National Trust carpark only free to members. There is a deer park and woodland walks with a boardwalk to a secluded lake. Also a NT house which we have not visited due to time pressure on us.
The views from town centre 'valley-side' back streets also impressive.
Room was pleasant and clean but very plain and functional for the price. Dinner was fair value but we had to ask twice for a table outside that we had already booked and had confirmed by the hotel by email prior to arrival. Breakfast was not good. Mushroom omelette was very dry. Smashed avocado on muffins had chopped tomato mixed with the avocado which made the muffins very soggy. Toast was very standard mass produced bread. Staff were friendly anf helpful. Location is good for an overnight stopover. No road noise heard.
Not being a 100% sure on what to expect, I bought a small fresh loaf and butter from the bakers in Llandeilo, but the host provided a fine continental breakfast with extra items also, which would've been fine for me.
I was certainly made welcome by the host.
Lovely clean & comfortable, quiet house, with WIFI and TV, and parking available.
My collie was also made very welcome.
The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.
This was an absolutely exceptional home to stay in. It was comfortable, well stocked with what you would need, and had plenty of room. Llandeilo is a small town, and it was quiet and relaxing, a very nice respite. The view from the rooms is a beautiful church, and while some might think having a graveyard across the street is creepy, it wasnt. The whole atmosphere of a small town with a country church, quiet streets... well it was exactly what we were looking for.
The location was ideal for visiting Aberglasney Gardens and the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. We were very near to the Dynefer Estate and Newton House (National Trust).
The room was comfortable and spacious and the host was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the two evening meals, a good choice of home-cooked food that was not too expensive.
Despite being close to the main road it was very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by traffic.
Beautifully furnished and comfortable cottage with log burning stoves for cosy evenings in. Modern, well equipped kitchen with everything you could need for self-catering. There's also a good choice of eateries or takeaways locally. Plenty of garden space, car parking for 2 cars and a safe, enclosed area for the dog to explore.
Great location for exploring Llandeilo and the Towy Valley. We'll be back.
This house was larger than expected settled between lovely towns and country sides. Very well equipped and a nice welcome package. Owner is super nice and easy to contact. Nive ammendities for adults and children even on rainy days. I enjoyed not having to supply our own towels, pillows and bedding. Also enjoyed the outdoor space. Wifi was good for us. We would stay here again.
Excellent quality accommodation, refurbed to a very high contemporary standard. Everything you need for a short stay. Short walk from Llandeilo Town centre and a good base to visit Llandovery (20min drive) and Lampeter (35min drive). Pleasant small towns. Carreg Cennen castle worth a visit for stunning views, a short walk steep walk from the castle car park.
Very comfortable and well appointed with great location and views. Spacious property which was furnished and finished to a very high standard with several bathrooms, which was ideal for a large group. Spacious dining area with fantastic views across the valley added to the occasion.
Gorgeous location with plenty of parking spaces. The staff was absolutely amazing, so incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the food was one of the best ones we’ve had in a while, with locally sourced ingredients and vegetarian options. Thank you Narelle and the entire team!
Tasty, generous welcome pack.
Easy parking.
Hosts were always quick to respond to messages and always friendly and flexible.
Great use of space in the glamping hut.
Lovely and quiet location - watching the birds in the nearby tree is proper soul food.
The space was great, comfortable sitting room and beds, very clean. Area is quiet. The plough restaurant is awesome, service and food was great. We rent a property every year (15 years) this is up there as one if the best, points above are minor.
The food was great and the room was well kept, the towels and bathroom were wonderful - I like a bath but often it is not available at some hotels. Parking was great and having everything you need on site made the stay very enjoyable.
Mary was welcoming and provided great help regarding local shops and activities, the accomodation was nice and clean, with homemade products for breakfast, I will recommend this place to my friends for a trip to South Wales!
Location was fantastic especially the size of the garden and the fire pit/bbq area, we used this evening evening to cook with. Our dog loved exploring the outdoor space and we saw lots of nature.
Spacious and well-appointed room, with a beautiful bathroom and a delicious breakfast every morning. Hotel was centrally located in Llandeilo. Would definitely stay there again.
Room very good and spacious. Staff very friendly - but also obviously under pressure. Location great - right in the centre of LLandeilo, but with adequate hotel parking.
We stayed in room 4, family suite . The rooms and bathroom was spacious and clean. Parking easy and only 10 mins walk into Llandeilo. Nice continental breakfast.
