Spacious very clean room. Friendly staff at breakfast and in the bar particularly. Swimming pool was nice. Breakfast buffet was very well organised, serving stations were spotlessly clean with good quality food and plenty of choice. Location was perfect and room was very quiet.

Rhos is a quiet little seaside town with plenty of restaurants, a good beach and lots of small shops but only a Coop and a Spar for grocery shopping. Fir Tree Cottage is quite a long walk along the coast road out of the town. So, depending how fit/old you are you might need to drive from the cottage to get anywhere. The nearest bus stop is about a 10 min walk away up to the main Llandudno road.

Nice and quiet at the time (BEFORE Easter), nice beach, conveniently placed for excursions to Chester, Conwy, Llandudno etc. Has both a big Co-op and a Spar, various souvenir shops etc. The Waterfront has very nice breakfasts (we tried Captain's and two versions of the pancakes, all great).

A lovely, small seaside town, with beautiful harbour and beach. (NB no dogs allowed on the beach though). It’s also a great base for driving to other North Wales attractions eg Llandudno which is only a short drive slong the coast road.

We were interested in exploring the Welsh coast and country side including Snowdonia. And this is exactly what we could do using the cottage as a base. Most of the tourist attraction were still close (lock down) but that also meant that the places was less crowded and beaches were almost empty. Wonderful holidays.
