The food in the George and Dragon pub was lovely and the service was excellent. We liked that you could buy a drink from the pub and take it down to your room in a plastic cup. The owners/staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed as well as checking to make sure the hot tub was hot enough and helping us with the WiFi. The room and hot tub was clean and we would definitely visit again!

Beautiful historic inn, lots of period features. We stayed in the Eln room which was amazing! We opened the door and just thought “wow!”
Great central location to explore Beccles town centre. Every little detail thought of in the room, very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Little extras like pots of porridge. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. A perfect stay & we will definitely be back!

Home from home in a characterful very old building, quirky and delightful and the hosts were really welcoming
Liked the quiet village location by the river. Our room was big, bed was comfortable, pillows were firm as requested. The shower room was big and well fitted.
Breakfast was cooked to our liking. We had fish dinner on the night before the day we left. The quality of food and the taste of the dinner exceeded our expectation. It was that good.

I love the little village of loddon .
I love the little village of loddon . It has a river where the boats leave for the broads . A street full of pubs all serving good food . Coffee shops , post office , boots and a small coop with a few other shops too . It has a lovely church on the middle of the village too
Quirky cottages and pink houses & plenty of character.
I will miss loddon I have been travelling down for 35 years !
It’s on a long stretch of a street with a narrow road and footpaths . With a small incline of a hill . Wheelchairs and pram users will be ok .
The swan and the white horse do delicious food .
The wifi is terrible !

Loddon is a lovely small village between Norwich and Lowestoft. There is good bus service in both directions and beyond. The Swan is a lovely Pub/Hotel in the centre of the village, there are two other pubs serving foor and local ales etc. an Indian Takeaway with eat in restaurant , Fish and Chips, Pizza and Chinese takeaways. There is also a fine cafe and bistro 'The Terrace' with occasional live music.
A boating marina and access to a walking trail along the river.
All round a good location with good facilities.

Loddon is a lovely clean village with 3 great pubs serving good food and drink. It is a short walk to the river and has plenty of small shops, supermarket and takeaways without being over-commercial. The locals are very friendly. Easy reach for Norfolk Broads and the sea.
