London is always a great destination for a long weekend. There are many paid attractions i.e. Tower Bridge and free attractions i.e. The Sky Gardens, just make sure you book in advance. There are so many shows to see and it is easy to get around by Bus, Tube or DLR. Walking along both sides of the river is enjoyable and there is always plenty going on.
I visit London quite often and there are a few places I enjoy. For breakfast, I would recommend Duck & Waffle, and for drinks later The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town. I would also recommend buying tickets for Tower Bridge, there are lovely views from the walkways, and it is not pricey. Taking the river cruise is lovely, you can take the boat from the center to Greenwich park where you can have a picnic with a view. If you enjoy museums, the Trasport Museum or the Postal Museum is a must. You have to pay for these museums, but the ticket is valid for the entire year. Traveling around London is easy, tube or bus, just tap the card if you don't have an Oyster card.
I come to London every year mostly to go to the theatre. London has the best English-speaking theatre in the world. Sadly it gets more expensive each year. Lambs Conduit is a great little street - a very good Italian restaurant, a great pub (the Lamb) it had everything we needed.
London is the most beautiful city in the world for me. There are a lot of "must-see", starting from famous museums like the British Museum or the National Gallery, passing by the views from skyscrapers (the Shard, Sky Garden, Garden at 120), going to Greenwich and see the Meridian. there are parks: Hyde Park, Holland Park, Kensington gardens, Hampstead Heath, Green Park, St James's Park. there are hidden corners, like Neal's Yard, Leadenhall Market, Carnaby Street, Camden Lock, Soho. The most important thing to do is to walk around the narrow streets of London and discover every inch of it: there are secrets and surprises everywhere.
We love weekend breaks in London and always find new things to see and do. The underground is such an easy way to get around and people-watching! London has such a great vivbe but there are calming places too.
I have been to London twice before and thought it was ok .But I really loved it this time and realised what a great city it is and how lucky we are to have it as our capital ,how much there is to see and do, how vibrant and alive it seemed , the beautiful buildings and history ,just a great place to spend time in .
Modern, efficient hotel in a good location for access to the underground. Easy to reach Paddington station and the Heathrow Express to airport, as well as other lines to central London. Room was well appointed with well-lit bath and walk-in shower, comfortable bed, good seating and closet space, and a view of the park across the street. Several restaurants nearby - we enjoyed Al-Forno for a good pasta meal (the owner was most friendly). The Liz Cafe down the street is popular for breakfast and lunch.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
What we really liked about this hotel is the magnificent design of every single detail from entrance to the rooms design to the other facilities in the hotel. The hotel overall is super clean and taken care of, so when you enter the hotel, you will get the vibes of 5 start hotels and hotel apartments. On top of that, the hotel is located in a very nice area and 5 minutes walk from Undergroung station and sorrownded by all daily needs shops, restaurants and Coffee shops.
It is excellent value for money in a quiet location. 20 minute walk from the Royal Albert Hall, lots of restaurants nearby. There was unlimited tea/coffee etc that you could pick up from reception. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It's a very basic hotel but it ticks every box for the price. Sometimes cheap hotels in London can be disgusting to say the least but this certainly isn't one of them. I'd stay here again and recommend!
The hotel has the soul. It is far from be qualified as a luxury, but it is charming, with extremely kind personnel. They provide to their guests opportunity to use modern and well equipped Gym, what is not common for many hotels with literally better reputation. Also, location is fantastic. In the hotel's vicinity are two tube station which enables easy and fast connection with the London downtown and main attractions.
This hotel was in the perfect location for access to traveling around London and getting back to Heathrow Airport. The hotel was beautiful with all necessary accommodations available. The room was perfect. Small, but had everything we needed. Bathroom had been updated. The staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. Wonderful restaurants nearby.
A short walk from Victoria coach station, easy to find and a central location with just a short walk or tube ride to popular sites in London. We were able to store our luggage before and after check in/out. It was one of the cheaper hotels that we considered for our trip, was fine for one night but for a longer stay we would consider an alternative.
Location excellent for shopping and experiences within the West End, excellent value for money and just what you need if your not spending all your time in your room the Z hotels are perfect, cheap for London. Clean, tidy and modern… yes a little small but so are most of the London hotels.
Staff is friendly. The bed is comfortable. Lo e the blue light in the bathroom for use at night (red would be even friendlier ontheeyes). Breakfast is great, to the standard I expect for this brand and price. Compared to the cheaper hotels it's good value for money by London prices.
Typical London hotel for that part of town. A tall terrace that was cheap and cheerful enough with good breakfast included. Staff friendly. Breakfast room could be bigger but the excellent sausages and tea bags would put far more expensive hotels to shame.
Kensington and Chelsea, London
The facilities, the Gardens and the fact it’s in Holland Park in Kensington. You are in one of the cheapest hotels in London and situated next door to multimillion pound houses. it’s as posh as a hostel can get!
This hotel is very well located for a Heathrow one-night stay... It is located on the Picadilly line of the Underground, so, you can easily reach both the airport and Central London
The location of the hotel was perfect for a quick hop over the bridge into the office. And it was also perfect to take in some of the tourist options London has to offer
let’s be real - let’s call it a hostel. great central location, cheap for a hotel in London, expensive for a hostel which is really what it is
The rooms are small but its cheap for london hotels so its quite good. we loved the lobby and everything looks like, very nice ambiente :)
Room was bog compared to other central hotels in London. staff was great. bathroom was big and comfortable. definitely recommended.
Location, location, location. And cleanliness. London hotels can be quite grubby
