Really friendly helpful people. Very easy city to navigate. Highly recommend participating in a walking tour (around the walled area) of the city. Takes about an hour, but is really helpful (historically).

We went on a guided tour of city and it was really worthwhile and enlightening and gave us a feel of what the city has been through. Our accommodation was within walking distance a brilliant location . Exchange rate made things expensive. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly return, easy to drive around.

We booked and paid for the hot tub and didn’t even use it as as soon as we checked in we leave and tried to find a better hotel
I also asked for champagne and sweets on arrival as you are not aloud to bring your own drink and we didn’t revive any thing

Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights.
Went mid-week over Valentines for 2 nights. The towpath walk from the hotel (Waterfoot Hotel) to the Peace Bridge and town at around 45 mins was lovely (it was a dry morning) as was the bridge itself.
Loved Sandino's quirky cuban themed bar and also the Taphouse bar near the Guildhall (Music/Singer in the Taphouse from 9pm was great on a Thursday night).
Sooty Olive restaurant (Waterside) then Silver Street bar/restaurant (main town) are both good food places to have dinner & drinks - Silver Street being more economical. City Walls a great experience also.

It is an interesting town between the walls. You must walk the walls, much info is to be found about Derry here.
The Guildhall has exquisite Stained glass windows and an enormous organ. Quite amazing really.
Londonderry/Derry's history is confronting and not so long ago there was much strife here and it is still in evidence.
Generally the food is excellent, loved it.

The food was well presented and on the whole beautifully cooked, and the staff were very attentive. and could not have been more helpful. The newly acquired block of five apartments across the street from the hotel were in excellent condition with enough room for a family of four (1 double + 1 twin) and with sel;f-catering facilities. The location of both the hotel and the apartments is within the walls of the old city of Derry/Londonderry and is well placed for many of the sites of historical interest.
The trip to Derry/Londonderry exceeded our high expectations. The city is steeped in history - nowhere in Ireland/Northern Ireland was history more present and relevant to us than in Derry/Londonderry. The LegenDerry B&B is right on top of all of this history - steps to the walled city and steps to the sites of key events at the start of the Troubles. Our hosts were excellent ambassadors for their city. The facility was clean and comfortable, and a good part of our memorable visit to Derry/Londonderry.
The house was immaculate. Plenty of towels were provided along with other essentials; tea, coffee, milk, butter, biscuits. Owner called to check we had everything and answered any questions we had. Location was exactly as described close to the city walls. Weather was cold but the house was lovely and warm. Excellent central location. Highly recommend this property for a short stay in Londonderry.
A warm greeting is the first of many personal touches Eilish does to make you feel at home at Redgate House! Tea on arrival and great conversation to discuss points of interest in the city, a great places to eat! Your home away from home when visiting the beautiful city of Londonderry!
Very nice place to stay. Conveniently close to Londonderry.
Unfortunate timing for us that the field next to the property was just freshly laid with manure. Couldn't open windows to let in air. Staff was really quick to bring us fans though.
Lovely Boutique Hotel right in the center of Derry. Staff was very friendly. lounge had speakeasy feel on the lower level and was very comfortable to hang out at night. Restaurant staff was very attentive and nice, very good breakfast too.
The room is large with lots of space compared to normal hotel rooms. The bathroom as well is a good size. Everything was clean. It has water, tea, and small snacks in the room. Breakfast has a good variety. city centre is a short walk.
We loved the location. The hotel was very busy, yet the staff dedicated time to each one of the guests, ready to answer questions in a cordial and professional manner. The room had all the amenities we needed.
Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Staff were both helpful and friendly especially Simon. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will most certainly stay again.
Pleasant Hotel set on the main road in to Londonderry. Rooms clean and fresh. Restaurant food excellent - good servings and very reasonable prices. Breakfast delicious
it was convenient, and had the site of a grand old hotel, but one that is not over the hill. Both Dinner and breakfast were Great and really added to the experience.
modern hotel. comfy big bed. good restaurant and bar. plenty of parking. view of river from our room. straight on to quay trail to walk into city centre.
