The warm friendly welcome, the delicious breakfast and the call to say we'd left something in our room and they'd keep it safe. Also, great selection of hot drinks in the room. My gluten intolerance was really well catered for!

The Royal Oak Exmoor, hotel in Luxborough

This charming 12th-century farmhouse is set in the peaceful village of Winsford, in Exmoor National Park. It offers individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout.

Lovely double aspect room which was quiet despite being above restaurant/bar area and road immediately adjacent. Shower was absolutely superb. Breakfast did the job but I have to say that our meal the evening before (where we were joined by a large family group) was absolutely exceptional ! Made to feel very welcome, thank you.

We stayed at this beautiful B&B as we were attending a Wedding, we stayed for one night but wished it could have been longer. Sue the propierter was exceptional and so friendly. When we arrived we were given tea and homemade cake which was delicious. The property was lovely and had everything you wanted and more. The garden also was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there with our tea and cake. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could think off. We will definitely come back .
