An absolutely beautiful, tranquil and romantic hotel with wonderful staff. The staff especially made the hotel what it was - offering anything they could do to help. Marjie, especially, became one of our fave members of staff. Can't wait to stay again! :)

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy...

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day! The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.

Lymington is a charming seaside town with a real boating culture. The shops are charming and there is a good selection of places to eat or drink. It has a quaint atmosphere and prides itself on its seawater bathing pool. We only stayed one night but are definitely planning to return.

Very helpful staff who were still attentive and cheerful even though they had recently completed a large wedding. The reception team took note of our request for adjoining rooms which is often missed in other hotels. The adjoining chalet bedrooms worked brilliantly for us with my elderly mother and she felt cared for by this small attention. The location is beautiful with the solent estuary visible from the hotel. Breakfast was very pleasant, both in terms of the food and the light and airy breakfast room.

Excellent location, perfect for exploring the New Forest. Staff were super friendly. Was warned that we might be disturbed by the Saturday market noise but barely heard it and in any case, a bit of noise in a hotel/pub in the middle of a high street is to be expected. The market was a treat. The food and drink offering was especially good for a pub. Would definitely stay here again if passing through Lymington.
