Reception was eventually fine but there was noone present when we arrived. The hotel was tired and our potentially pleasant room needed redecoration.

Loved the whole visit.

The hotel is one of the better ones in Folkestone - great location on the seafront, nice facilities, clean rooms and decent breakfast.
Being able to park for £5 a day outside the hotel is great - if you can get a space. I feel this information should be clearly stated on the website and when you book. I had to send several messages and call the hotel to find out about the parking.
The staff at the hotel were friendly.

the room was so unique. There is a stair inside to go up for the second bed and the bathroom. Below is the double bed and cupboard. The room is overlooking the beach directly so we got superb view of the beach.
We visited Lympe Zoo and had a fabulous time. The village of Lympe is quaint however there’s everything you need within walking distance. The local pub is lovely. Being so rural we had views that were stunning

Guests can walk to the surrounding areas like the castle and the church where an excellent view of the coast can be photographed. A very good place to eat is the Bistro and the County Members round the corner.
The zoo (Reserve) is not to be missed.
