Kind staff and great breakfast. Incredible value for money, could not recommend this place more.

The best thing to do in Manchester is explore football. The national museum of football is must see and also very recommended to check out Old Trafford. Either just with a stadium tour or get there for a game!
had the most amazing interaction with Ahmet on the front desk. Such a warm welcome & helped me enjoy my stay to the max, always went above and beyond to make sure I had everything needed for a beautiful stay. Will definitely be back ❤️
Attended Gladys Knight concert at the Apollo. Bar charges exceptionally high. £18 for two drinks an outrage. Apollo in need of revamp ASAP. Left at 10.30 to go to city centre to perhaps have something to eat and a drink however found most establishments had or were closing. Greatly surprised as a Saturday night. Bumped into some very drunk and offensive young men. Went home on the last bus after buying a sandwich in the Spar by the bus stop. Visited the Arndale on the Sunday which was pleasant enough but could have been anywhere else in the UK. The city of my partners birth but won't be rushing back and won't be using the Diamond Lodge.
If you like walking canals this is a good spot. You can easily walk into central Manchester down the Bridgewater/Rochdale canal, getting to Oxford road in ~45mins. If you want to walk further head for Piccadilly station and then pick up the canal that goes up to the Etihad, Droylesden or even Ashton. The tram can be used if you get tired. The Quays themselves are attractive.
We loved the general cleanliness of the city, and how vintage is integrated with modern. Restaurants and self-help food venues are plentiful & varied. It is very easy to get around in Manchester, with many choices of modes of travel. People are generally helpful and approachable.
Manchester is awful. We were nearly robbed 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. The area is dirty and we felt unsafe. The Trafford Centre is a great shopping centre and easy to get to on the tram. But 2 days was too long in Manchester.
Superb location. You step out the hotel and straight into Manchester cathedral. Right behind the hotel is the Arndale shopping center and the Northern Quarter is a 5 mins walk away. Loads of restaurants, pubs, bars, well it's the city centre so. Staff was very friendly, came all the way upstairs about 5 times when there was a problem with the fuse. Had the feeling they'd do anything for you and they were very welcoming. Room was totally fine, bathroom also okay. It had everything you need (except for a hair dryer).
I didn't do much research on the hotel as it was a last minute booking but i feel that we got very lucky with the random selection. The whole concept/theme of the hotel is fantastic and it's delivered to a really high degree of quality, escpecially considering the reasonable price point. Bonus - the great staff make it feel like your staying in a hotel 10x the cost. Hotel Brooklyn will be my 1st choice should i stay over in Manchester with my wife again.
i loved how you are in the city centre and everything is within walking distance. so beautiful the views, so cleans, all the little details into the apartment make it worth while. honestly one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and kept so clean. considering we hardly seen hotel staff other than the odd cleaner I’m not sure how they operate but it’s amaze however they do. would recommend to anyone staying in Manchester also a fantastic price
I thought it was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was of adequate size & had a good view over Salford. The shower was one of the best I've had in a hotel & it was good to have a separate shower. The breakfast was good for a budget hotel with a fair amount of choice. The hotel was close to the tram taking you into Manchester City centre or to Media City.
The location is brilliant being just a short walk to Piccadilly station and the town centre. Loved the convenience of this! The staff that I encountered as well as cleaners were very nice and helpful. It’s also super affordable as far as Manchester hotels go so I would recommend to anyone if you just need to be in the City centre for a couple of days.
Ville Hotel located in the heart of Manchester’s city centre and famous LQBT District, with lovely canal view and spacious clean room with plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room, Staff are very pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay the real magic is how beautiful the area lights up at night with the lights- one of a kind
The location is fairly close to the airport but not close to the city centre for anyone who is interested is having a better connection to Manchester central. The nearest bus takes about 35 minutes to get to the centre. The only thing I liked about our room was the lighting in the bathroom and how easily the toilet would flush.
My partner and I were so pleased to have an amazing view in such a nice room at a great location too! The room, bathroom, and the rest of the hotel were very clean and felt luxurious. I also feel the price is about right so the next time I'm in Manchester I'll definitely consider a return visit!
I had a great room with large comfy bed, breakfast venue is large to accommodate more people… and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus there is a tram stop next to the hotel and it takes only 15 minutes to get to the city center. Definitely going to stay there again if I’m back in Manchester :)
Lovely staff, great room and super breakfast! Seriously if you’re gonna stay make sure you get breakfast, one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had for sure. The rooms are nice, the location is great and it feels very clean and efficient. Great stay in Manchester!
The Alan is a lovely hotel with many of the original features of the building it used to be. Easy to find and right in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Clean & comfortable with great staff.
I loved the location of the hotel! It really doesn't get better than Manchester city centre, with literally everything just a few minutes of walk or a quick public transport ride away.
Fernandes in the reception was very professional very good hotel one of the top 3 in Manchester the location is perfect hotel smell room size Restaurants room service
Everything in the room was as you expect from Ibis Budget. Location is good 7-10 min walk from Manchester Piccadilly staton. Hotel provided extra services which I appreciate.
love this property, second time I’ve stayed here and will always choose this hotel when in Manchester. right in the city centre and lovely rooms
It was a nice and clean the hotel was good the staff 10 out 10 I would stop there again next I am in Manchester
