The house had everything we needed for a girlie weekend. Liked the kitchen diner all being together and that us girls each had a room to ourselves. We also liked the garden centre two doors down as we are keen gardeners and plenty of room to park two cars. If it had been in summer we would have made good use of the garden too.

I wanted a room overlooking car, with my cherished car that my husband gave me just before he passed away. This car is VERY special to me, so I keep an eye on it when 'away'. Food good too. Quiet. Lovely staff- very helpful.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room beautifully appointed. Lots of attention to detail regarding what was provided ie 6 different types of tea! Huge towels! Nothing too much trouble, ie they were fully booked in the restaurant but still managed to fit us in. The food was superb. Altogether we had a wonderful stay.

Everything was very newly done with thick carpets and fantastic quality carpentry everywhere. Food was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful

Manningtree is a small, quite charming, little town about 10 miles from Harwich so ideal if you are going to /coming of the ferry. We only stayed for one night and didn't use the kitchen but everything seemed to be there. The place was clean and warm with a comfy bed and good shower.
