We loved the medieval feel of the castle. To be around the original decor, no tvs in room and just overall basic. It is a fantastic escape. The food was amazing, we dined in the hall and could not fault the food whatsoever. Well presented and tasty. We got upgraded for free and we was very grateful. Hot water, comfy bed, clean, and loved the shutters for the windows! Staff were attentive and friendly. We arrived around 415pm and the lovely guy who man's the grounds was fab and full of knowledge about the castle and check in was super.

I had a nice room and the shower was excellent, Check in and check out was great and breakfast was good and I ate a nice evening meal. I even had access to a nice garden.

Lovely homely stay. The hosts are really friendly and left jam and cream scones. The bed is lovely and comfy. We had a lovely relaxing stay! Beautiful scenery around the hut. With the lambs just outside. The stars on a clear night were amazing for any star gazers! We took microwave meals as there’s a microwave, kettle and mini fridge. The little touches are lovely.

Great property for families using the apartment. Super convenient and good value.
Pretty little place with a village green. Just stayed for a long weekend in May so there were many sheep with their lambs. We loved it here but there are no shops and nearest pub is one mile away which might put some people off. The community pub in Crosby Ravensworth is worth a visit.
