The staff were amazing, I say staff it was one lady with a bad knee doing everything on her own. She was polite, efficient and friendly a credit to

It’s a lovely B&B, quirky but spotlessly clean and well organised.

Very good heating, well equipped kitchen, great shower. Superb location for a mountain biking trip, but wold also be ideal for any other activity. " well stocked shops nearby and a load of takeaways. Definitely need a car to get around this area.
Definitely need a car to get around this area. Not quite the luxury I was looking for. Accomodation and breakfast where I stayed was fairly basic. Quite limited in eating out options too.
Managed to walk the Pen y Fan which was the highlight of my stay here.

Nice town with some lovely places to go for a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly bar with live music at the weekend. Also there is a Wetherspoon. The Zip World was only a 30 min drive away and is fantastic. Great scenery and walks near by.

Only stayed 2 days and then was at an event so not enough time to explore. However on an evening plenty of places to eat and drink. Tesco Extra and range of other shops incl. Saturday street market. Train and bus transport hub, and plenty of places to explore a short distance away.

Liked the fact it has good public transport links to the Brecon Beacons the town itself looks a bit run down in places like many these days but had everything we needed with lots of things to do nearby. We enjoyed climbing Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, visiting Lyn Cwm Llwch, walking along parts of the Taff Trail, visiting The Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle and park as well as things further a field.

Centre -lovely trails and views.
Also the Brecon Beacons were within easy reach.
We ate at Nant Ddu the first night and shared 3 tasty side dishes between us.
Not too far from 3 near locations where my Dad was born and lived in Penwhriceiber, Cefn Pennar and Mountain Ash. Able to visit as near.
Lovely little base for exploring The Brecon Beacons. Lots of space and good value for money!
Loved the little terrace, great for the dog to chill out in after a long day out hiking. Little bits provided for the dog were amazing and very helpful as we ran out of poo bags! She also was very happy with her own bed that was set up :)
Very quirky decor & right up our street, had everything we needed for a short stay, the kitchenette was very useful, great to have milk on our arrival and the Welsh cakes were divine thank you :)
Wonderful staff, all super friendly and couldn't be more accommodating with requests and help on the local area. We stayed in room 3 which was very clean and spacious and had a lovely view. The hotel is in a great location to explore everything the Brecon Beacons have to offer and is lovely and quiet which makes sleeping very easy and comfortable.
Breakfast service was great and the food was fresh and filling. Really great little B&B and amazing value for money. We will definitely be going back and recommending to all.
Excellent hosts sharing plenty of tips for hikes in this area and also other parts of Wales (Gower and St Davids). They also suggested the Big Pit National Coal museum, which I found a must-do to understand the industrial history of the area.
Excellent breakfast, lots of choice.
Comfortable bed and room. Very clean.
Also had a UK adapter in the room for charging devices (in case you'd forgotten it or wanted to charge multiple).
Parking on the premises.
A great location in a quiet spot, with lovely views across the valley. It was the perfect location for access to Merthyr Tydfil, and also to Bike Park Wales. Richard was really helpful in the lead up to the stay, and sent across all the information we needed to ensure everything was plain sailing from arrival to departure.
We spent 2 days riding at bike park wales and this place is perfect, super clean, and very nice with a smart little area to keep our bikes safe. The shower was good with plenty of instant hot water just what you need after a hard days riding. Another bonus is that it is a 5min drive from bike park Wales.
The site is located a short distance to many of the trails in the Brecon Beacons, which is great if you want to go hiking but make sure you have dinner before returning home for the night as there are no restaurants nearby. The rooms were a good size and very quiet at night.
Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff, the quality of the built environment rather poor, the building needs an update to aspire to what they offer that is a hotel and spa... restaurant service and foot was OK... not a wow though ...
Very clean bedrooms and communal areas, access to communal kitchen with all the equipment, easy check in / out, good location for Breacon, good location for local amenities i.e. shops, takeaways etc.
Very nice space, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean! it was so convenient for Bike Park Wales and the shower at the end of the day was exactly what you needed, powerful and hot!!!
All staff that I came into contact with were fantastic ambassadors for the hotel and couldn't do enough to help. Evening meal and breakfast were fantastic. Free WiFi worked great.
