I decided to stay in for one night before my daughter’s gymnastics competition at the local sports centre. Room was nice and clean. We enjoyed our meal and breakfast, lots of parking, staff really nice, friendly and helpful. Everything you need.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely pretentious and we felt they weren’t very friendly or welcoming at all. The hotel had no room service menu and no price list for the minibar. We were charged £50 as soon as we got there to cover any extras we ordered, even though we just paid for anything as soon as we got it. Also there was no food available from room service which is disappointing in such a nice hotel!

My wife and I were on our way to a holiday in the highlands so we decided to break our journey in Motherwell. I was last there about fifty years ago, so everywhere was very different! Was nice being back...

The plus was the resturaunt the food was suprisingly good & saved having to hunt around for something to eat in an unknown area in a wet night. Lovely hotel for a stop over, we traveled from Wigan and arrived at hotel late so night porter booked s in, they were expecting us so book in was fast and easy just what you want after a long trip. room was lovely and comfortable only tiny little negative could have had done with more milk for night/morning brew.

There’s a gorgeous Loch behind the hotel which is handy if you fancy a walk or a run. The room was extremely clean and decorated to a high standard. The Toby Carvery was amazing as well so you don’t really need to leave the site once you’re there if you’re only staying overnight for work like I was. Will 100% be staying again next time I’m in Scotland - really pleased I came across this place.

Unexpected little items such as washing up liquid, bubble bath, shower gel etc to name a few were a lovely touch. The towel art swans with the biscuits and chocolates were amazing. Will definitely consider using again when we come to Scotland for our annual family trips. We arrived into Scotland earlier than check in time and was able to gain access early too. Brilliant!
