We didn’t stay for breakfast because we needed an early start but they did offer to provide an early breakfast by we had made prior arrangements to meet my son in Doncaster for brunch 😀
Lovely little place with interesting shops. Beautiful houses and buildings to admire. Went on lovely walk through fields and woods. Went primarily to visit The pig and Pie shop which exceeded expectations and is a real bonus in the village. It's a must go to place if you like pies, we took some home and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.😋

We only stayed one night (for a funeral) but I would have been very happy to stay in this hotel to explore Much Wenlock and the surrounding area. Shropshire is not generally recognised as a tourist venue, but it has beautiful hilly countryside; lots of history from the Romans to the Industrial Revolution; and old towns and villages like Much Wenlock with its Priory!

Much Wenlock is a lovely little market town perfect as a base. There are few interesting shops and if you like Indian food highly recommend the Bilash. There is a regular bus service taking you to Shrewsbury or Bridgenorth. We enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing.

Traditional large country village, with a few local shops.
Traditional large country village, with a few local shops. Some beautiful medieval buildings, although sadly one or two were empty and a little neglected. At night, even on a Saturday, you could hear a pin drop even on the High Street and if you want to eat out, come early because kitchens close at 8 or 8.15 at the latest !!! The locals were mostly friendly and the local accent is a thing of beauty.

A really interesting and history rich village.
A really interesting and history rich village. Great of Olympic enthusiasts. Lovely little museum which explained why it is the birth place of the Olympics. Lovely little shops with an excellent book shop, which also had a fabulous second hand vinyl section. It's a beautiful village architecturally. Worth bearing in mind there are NO taxi services available to collect you without some pleading to firms in Telford or Shrewsbury.
Nice location. 1 Fox Studios was on the ground floor and everything inside was clean and welcoming. There was plenty of space, parking was easy with a space right in front of the property and was accessed via a pub car park. The pub itself was closed and up for sale at the time of our visit.
Much Wenlock itself was a nice place and we also caught a bus into Shrewsbury, which we'd visited before and still enjoyed on a second visit.
- Super breakfast, loads of choice and very filling
- We had an evening meal in the pub, great value for money and really lovely food
- Staff were very friendly and helpful
- Lovely building
- Location was great for various walks (we were hiking in the area), Much Wenlock was a lovely area
- Good facilities in the room (kettle, glasses, tea, coffee, etc.)
- Bed was very comfortable, had a restful sleep
Fantastic brownies on arrival along with milk, bread and butter plus lots of useful basics like washing up liquid, tea and coffee etc. The house is spotless and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our elderly dad loved that it warmed up really fast when he put the heating on. Beds were comfy and location in heart of Much Wenlock was brilliant. Parking was nice and easy too.
Food was lovely, located in a nice little village. if you want a modern hotel with all the facilities its not for you. This is a small hotel that needs some updating but it was clean and all the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. As a disabled person they went out of their way to do everything they could to ensure I had a comfortable stay.
The location was very central in Much Wenlock with easy access on foot to cafes, bars, restaurants and points of interest. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was practical with lounge seating in the room. The key for the apartment was spotlessly clean and easy to access via the combination lock. Parking was available in the public car park adjacent to the property.
Much Wenlock is picturesque and beautiful village, and this apartment's location within the village - is second to none.
It was easy to get to using public transport (a bus every hour to/from Shrewsbury).
The apartment is very cosy, and the kitchen is well equipped with high-end electric devices.
The bed was divine!
Many thanks David for this lovely place!
Lovely apartment whcih was well equipped for our stay. Parking outside and ideally located within the town of Much Wenlock and a short drive to Ironbridge, Telford and Shrewsbury. It was great to have piping hot water, literally immediately on tap and the shower was equally cosy. Owners were very accommodating and communication very good. Thank you Pam!
the room was large and spotless. breakfast was excellent and we ate both nights in the hotel and the food was lovely.
the hotel is convenient for walks around much wenlock and has a large car park. the surrounding area is beautiful and there are a lot of lovely places to visit within easy driving distance.
lovely friendly and amenable staff and clean and large comfortable rooms. good car park at the hotel and the dinner and breakfast were very good with Gluten free options available, Fabulous location in easy reach of the town and a lovely little farm shop attached to the hotel.
Comfortable 2 level accomodation ,very clean and good tea making facilities -felt more like a flat than a hotel room . Very friendly and welcoming staff and a good honest plentiful evening meal.
We loved our stay at Fox Corner. A very well equipped and comfortable house in a great location. The Christmas Market in Much Wenlock was so lovely and made our weekend extra special.
Very friendly owner and staff, spacious and comfortable bedroom, great vegetarian breakfast, lovely bar. We had good evenings in the bar with friendly hotel guests and locals.
Beautifully done up cottage in the heart of pretty historic Much Wenlock. A few steps to everything the town has to offer including an exceptional meal at The Raven.
