Such a lovely B&B in a quiet area, Linda and Dougie made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely with all the little touches that make your stay enjoyable, we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh baked scones which is a very nice touch. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Astrid was a great host and went out of her way for us, the accommodation was nicer than expected from the website, and the breakfast was great! Very filling without being too much.

Stuart the host met us when we arrived and helped take our bags to our room. He was very friendly and described everything in the room that we needed to know. Accommodation was huge with two bedrooms both of a good size, very large living area, fully stocked kitchen including a washing machine. Bathroom was big and clean. Location was very good and we drove to Ullapool from there. We even loved their cat Goldie who came to visit us.

The property was beautiful, both internally and within its setting and was well maintained and clean. We had a great stay here and the owners were incredibly kind and attentive. Despite only having stayed one night we would have loved more time to relax and enjoy the region! Thanks so much :)
Our family trip to the Scottish Highlands happened very last...
Our family trip to the Scottish Highlands happened very last moment in the Peak season -July. All hotels and apartments were pretty much booked or available at horrendously high prices.
This property showed up in my search as an affordable option. To be honest we were not even sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised to find a neat and cosy cottage with clean and modern set up. Would highly recommend to go for this property if you have access to your own transport.
The property does not serve breakfast but I was told there are cafes nearby that do. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would surely consider going back to the same hotel again.

It was lovely ,well presented and just like the pictures online.Nice terrace to sit on. Nice friendly welcome from the host. Bed was very comfortable we slept very well.
Shower was good. And the whole chalet was spotlessly clean. We were attending an event in Inverness so only a short journey away and much more peaceful and much less expensive than in town. And a safe space to park your car.

There are 4 local walks starting from the square. Each takes you to a different type of countryside eg down to the sea to watch seals,up a hill to see lovely views, along the old railway line and through lovely woods and along quiet roads. It is only 2.5 miles to Beauly and there is a pavement all the way so we walked there and had lunch in a pub there and wandered round the shops. We drove to Chanonry Point to look out for the dolphins. We didn’t see any but enjoyed the beach and watching the people coming and going.

Ideal for visiting nearby family on black isle and nairn. 10 minutes by car to Inverness. Lots of places to visit in the area. Chalet was immaculate inside and outside was being repainted. Enclosed garden for dogs. Andrew was very helpful on arrival and couldn't do enough to make the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and return.

Muir of Ord is situated well to be used as a base to visit The Highlands. It has access to Main roads north and south with the Black Isle on doorstep. A few eateries and carry out places will keep the hunger at bay. Nice friendly folk always keen to speak to you.

Cannot fault this lovely property.
Cannot fault this lovely property. Every room is beautiful and very carefully planned. Loved the kitchen/ diner and loved using the AGA. The bedrooms are all spacious and very comfortable, the bathrooms all have great showers and lovely views . The outside space is great, we didn’t use the bbq and pizza oven but would imagine it’s great to use in the warmer weather. The hot tub was great too.
The house is located near the distillery with lovely views front and back.
Gorgeous location. Easy parking. Delicious breakfast and great local dining at the Priory Hotel. Dougie and his son Cameron were great hosts whilst Linda cooked an amazing breakfast that included warm scones which we took away for the journey (couldn't wait for tea break!).
A bit of info in the room would have been good such as how to log on to wifi and places to eat out.
A 10 rated establishment none the less.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location
We had booked a triple room so were extremely pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were comfortable, the linen was good. There was a mini fridge and microwave, plus the usual kettle and tea coffee
The bathroom was well appointed. The shower pressure was fantastic
The place is amazing, we simply did,t want to leave. The hosts are friendly and helpful and make their best to make you feel like in your own home.
We loved the beautiful sunsets from our patio, delicious breakfests, and the 5*hotel service. Thank you Linda and Dough for making our stay a memorable experience:)
Great place to stay. Well equipped and clean and good value for money. Owners are really helpful and have stocked the apartment with local information and made recycling easy.
Muir of Ord is a great location for sightseeing and walking. Try out the Bad girl bakery and cafe which is excellent.
good hotel for travellers, on the road but enough silent (except from other guests noises) with its own bar
price is fair for the Scottish average, which increased too much in the last years IMHO
we didn't have breakfast there so I can't judge it
A lovely find in the woods close to Muir of Ord.
Great value for money and within easy reach of many sights such as Loch Ness, Channory Point (for dolphins) and even Skye.
We took the executive room, which was great and roomy.
Very nice, cozy and beautiful little hotel with rooms just like you would expect from the movies. Very nice staff/bartender and the service was magnificent!
