The room was very clean and tidy, en-suite very clean, plenty of loo roll, shower was hot, bed comfy, netflix on tele, cosy, warm and most of all so touched by the host being so accommodating towards me by providing me a small fridge and microwave to store my food as I was there for 5 nights on a work trip. It was also close to supermarkets, the little village area with shops, some cafes/ restaurants and less than 10 min walk from North Walsham station. Really enjoyed my stay and would defo book again in the future.

Cromer Country Club, hotel in Mundesley

With views of the picturesque Norfolk coastline and many health and leisure facilities, Cromer Country Club is ideally placed for a delightful break in a pleasant Victorian seaside town.

This was our third visit and stop at this resort. We chose this resort for location, friendliness, proximity to amenities and facilities both onsite and in nearby Cromer, which we both love. We shall return for a fourth visit soon. We both love the chalet accommodation that suits us both. The chalet, was warm and clean, the bed was very comfy. Plenty of space for two adults to share, no problem. The on-site restaurant, service and the pleasantness of the staff.

    Mundesley is lovely.

Mundesley is lovely. I think for visiting other parts of the surrounding area it would be better to have a car as it is quite remote. There is a regular bus service but unfortunately it had emergency timetable changes during our stay so we weren’t able to use it at all to explore.

Mundesley is a lovely little village - not too...

Mundesley is a lovely little village - not too commercialised, so it's like stepping back in time. It feels safe and so ideal for families with young children as well as those who want a quiet holiday. The pubs welcome dogs, which is always a nice feature. The accommodation ranges from campsite, to chalets, holiday rentals and hotel - should cover most requirements. Cromer and Sheringham not far away nor are the Norfolk Broads, so it's well placed for day trips out... and wonderful to come back to at the end of the day. The beach is wonderful, with good sand for making sand-castles, although swimming should be done with care as there are some under-currents at times. The life-guard and flags should be heeded in this respect. Good places for evening meals - The Royal Hotel and The Ship are favourite places of ours - there's plenty of choice! Crazy Golf on the sea-front is always a favourite of ours - because as pensioners, we're really big soft kids! There's also a small arcade for youngsters and lots of cafes and a beach paraphernalia shop. Can you tell I love it there?

I've known Mundesley since the 70s - used to go as a child every year so I know it well. Its a nice small, british seaside village with lots of evidence of it being a victorian/edwardian holiday destination. Beach is great for walking along in cooler weather (you can walk for MILES if you want) and the inland lanes are pretty. Not many pubs but the Ship Inn has a nice selection of beers and a takeaway 'shack' in the evenings for fish and chips and the Royal Hotel has a bar. Not a huge number of shops in the village, usual places to buy buckets/spades, there's a park with kids playground, there's crazy golf, Its easy to get to other locations e.g. Cromer, Sheringham, North Walsham and further afield. Lots of little secret paths in the villages to explore, easy to get around. Beach is mainly sandy but shingly in areas, I always had a great time as a kid there, its changed a bit (more houses on the outskirts) but its still the same place underneath. Love it!

It is a pleasant friendly village and there are lovely interesting walks in the area. It is a great centre for exploring that part of Norfolk. I always self-cater for my evening meals and use the local Tesco Express for ready-washed salad and cold meats. The Tesco is on the road to Cromer and is about a ten minute drive. I recommend turning right out of the hotel and using the back streets through the village to avoid the tricky narrow kink in the main road. There is a small information office by the car park in the village which is chock-full of leaflets and guides.

Mundesley is a small village down the coast from Cromer and Sheringham. The main attraction is the clean sandy beach. The beach is flat so no suddenly deep water and often at low tide there is a shallow tidal pool children can safely play in with inflatables etc. It is also manned by lifeguards. There are toilets a beach cafe that does a roaring trade in fish and chips, eat in or takeaway. As well as a kiosk selling all manner of beach items, icecreams etc. We can highly recommend the Chinese takeaway. Tesco express is open from 7am to 11pm. There are many holiday rentals from self catering houses, flats, chalets and caravans to B&B's and hotel. In the village there is a post office, chemists, greengrocers and a couple of other shops.

Good location well maintained grounds. Inside was really comfortable with just about everything you need. It was like being at home nice and clean with cleaning materials if you need them. Couple of good restaurants close by, the ship and the royal hotel, social club with holiday membership if you fancy meeting the locals or a game of bingo. Good cafes and a great Chinese takeaway. The beach is really nice with great facilities. All this is within walking distance and more so you could leave the car in the spacious car park at the chalet.

The house is situated over looking the sea, so a beautiful view from the lounge. Situated in a quiet cul de sac with private parking had the added bonus of access to the sea via steps. House lovely, bright and spotless. We saw Bev briefly on arrival and she popped by later to fill us in on the property, a very helpful host letting us know places to eat and where to walk to. Can not fault the property and would definitely like to return. Mundesley has miles of beautiful sand perfect for blowing away those cobwebs.

Fantastic and comfortable little house. Great facilities and comfortable beds. The actual village of Mundesley is very undersold - there is literally everything you could think of there including some wonderful local shops and an arcade and crazy golf for the kids. The house is situated incredibly well to take advantage of all of this. We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back.

This apartment is clean and comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden. Considering how cold it was outside, the apartment is warm and cosy. We slept very well there, it's nice and quiet with a comfy bed. It's in a great location where you just take a short walk to the seafront. We have been before and would love to return again.

There were two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath, both having toilets. The two bedrooms were very spacious as was the kitchen/dining room which had high ceilings. The property was only 5min walk to the beach at Mundesley and a 15min drive into Cromer.
